Equator Coffee Westboro

Best. Coffee. Ever. I had never heard of this place, was treated to an espresso here, and it was delightful. Came back the next day, had 2 cappuccinos and a regular coffee. To say I like their coffee is an understatement. The staff is pleasant, professional and sweet. It can either be nice and quiet in there or a packed house. Nice patio section for the summer, overall it is my favorite coffee shop in Ottawa.

Nice cafe, probably my favourite in Westboro. Excellent espresso and Americanos. They also have great in-house roasted coffee beans available for purchase and home use, and they will grind them to your specifications while you wait. It can be a little busy at times and is a tad on the pricey side, but overall is a great place.

Excellent coffee! I'm not into all of the fancy food and drink, I'm just looking for quality, reasonably priced coffee that I can take home and grind myself. Even though I live in Kanata now I still make the drive out to Westboro for their coffee.

I specifically wanted Swiss Water process decaf. They had it and in fact the staff member I spoke to had just returned from a tour of the plant where the coffee is decaffeinated. Knowledgeable and friendly service. I only stayed long enough to pick up my beans but I was impressed with the comfortable, bright, and pleasant atmosphere of the cafe.

Coffee is okay. Space is nice. I really wish the food offerings were more palatable. Definitely a good shop if you are looking for gluten-free and vegan options.
