Quite possibly the best restaurant in Halifax. I can’t even begin to describe how good the food is.... I frequently wonder if the meals I've had there are simply the best I've ever had. And there are so many gluten free options and substitutions!!! Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Couldn't ask for a better restaurant experience.

My first time here, although the food was pretty good, I won't go back. We ordered the sample plate as a start, and didn't have anywhere close to enough pita to finish it. The waitress, who was fantastic considering she was the only one serving on a Friday night, asked us 3 times throughout our meal if we would like to purchase more pita. I feel like there should have been enough to finish the app from the start. After we ordered a large group came in and they requested to sit beside us and they bathed in cologne, while this is no fault of the restaurant, I understand, but I left with a migraine because of it. The group that came in after we ordered knew the cook, which I assume is the owner, and they managed to get their food before we did. I also found the main pretty small for close to 20$. I am only a small woman, but I could have kept eating. In short the food was good, portion was small, and the experience was terrible.

Delicious food, great service, excellent value! Many vegetarian options and accommodated celiac friends no problem. Has become a regular spot for us

Efendy is simply the best Mediterranean food in Halifax, and is nestled in the heart of the city, between Spring Garden Rd. and Citadel Hill. Food is prepared over a bed of charcoal, which offers a superior taste. Great for a business meal as well as a meal with friends or family. Everything we've had here has been delicious.

Great Turkish food. There are a few Turkish places on Spring Garden road, but in my opinion, this offers the best food. Their yougurt kebab is very tasty. Mezza plate is also very yummy to start with.
