Story

We have a spectacular view of the Halifax Harbour from both our Bar and Grill and our Dining Room on the second floor. We serve fresh, local seafood as well as steak, lamb, and pasta in the Dining Room. Our Bar and Grill features sandwiches, salads, burgers, snacks, and of course, seafood.

My first time in Halifax from NYC and wow. This place came recommended by the locals. The waiter was super awesome in his recombination of the catch of the day special. Just look at the pics, nothing was left at the end of the meal..

Saltys is one of my favorite stops for seafood. Never disappointed. The food was great, the staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. My boyfriend and I ate downstairs in the more casual dining area, next time I'll check out the upstairs. Although this place can get pricey especially when you order cocktails (which are very refreshing and will have you wanting more&more) In the summer it's the perfect spot to be, where the location is right on the waterfront you have a beautiful view and they have outdoor dining. In the winter it's a bit drafty but so worth it. I go a few times a year and I'll certainly be back for the busker festival which is also right on the waterfront! All around this place is where to go when wanting that maritimer seafood! Yum!! (Cozy, friendly, family friendly, beyond acceptional service and the food is amazing)

Went for lunch, gotta say I had a really great experience with the staff and food! Extremely polite and good service, I had fish and chips and the lobster and the food tasted fresh as I never tasted before. Definetly a must try in the area!

My wife and I ate here two times. The first time we were unimpressed and decided not to come back. Then we got a 2-1 coupon and gave it another try to the same result. Food was diner quality at gourmet prices. We ate downstairs and the atmosphere was also not worth returning for.

Best fish and chips had while in Halifax! Super fresh. Lovely patio on the pier.
