Emma!!! Way to knock service out of the park and honoured to be part of your first time back since maternity leave. Your experience shone through and everyone at our table enjoyed your charm, fun personality, attention to detail and timely top ups as well as your smooth upsells made us smile and should make your boss proud ; Our meals were amazing as always, perfectly cooked pastas, tender seafood… It was the service that was all 10’s. We’ll bring you a different flavour danish the next time through : Wishing you the best on your grand adventure in motherhood - you’ll be spectacular.
Ordered the crab ravioli and the seafood spaghetti! The ravioli was creamy and decedent, lots of crab and the two prawns were cooked very well. The dinner also came with free bread and roasted hummus. The prices were quite reasonable for the scale of dining. Came on a Friday night around 9 with no reservation and they found us a table right away.
Got a few things I haven't tried in a while. Steak tartare is more or less like many places, mild flavour, doesn't stand out. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Has a sweet fruity butter sauce. But sweet for me, but I think most people will like it. Duck confit risotto was the best one for me. Fall off the bone duck mixes into perfectly cooked risotto with a strong red wine flavor. Plus good portion size. Bonus that they serve non-alcoholic beer!
We've been to this restaurant twice, and we had a pleasant experience overall. The only downside was that the portions were a bit small for their relatively high prices especially for the Tagliata. Nevertheless, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was enjoyable. It's also a good idea to book your table in advance, as it can get pretty busy.
This restaurant really lives up to the hype. We ordered the lobster chowder, Lobster Linguine, Crab Ravioli and the crème brûlée. All the dishes were packed with flavour and they definitely did not skimp out on the lobster portions. The Lobster chowder was the star of the show and I would recommend trying this for sure. The service from all the staff we interacted with was great and special thanks to our server Costa - he was amazing! The restaurant was pretty packed and a bit loud on Saturday, so I definitely recommend making sure you have a reservation beforehand.
