Paid total $266.07 for this hotel for 1 night, floors were dirty , rooms could have been cleaner . carpets were stained and smelled bad. very sketchy area with homeless people and drug addicts not good for a family. staff were nice and good to deal with.
I would give this hotel zero star if I could. I booked this hotel through Super.com. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless I really hate that person. When we arrived at night time, there were loud music in the parking lot and many groups of people gathered around and smoked weed. I smelled cannabis all the way to the front door. In the foyer, it smelled like a pet shop. The carpet was full of dog hair and the hallway smelled like a dog breeder's home. They checked us into one of the rooms on the first floor. I asked if there is room available on higher floors but the lady at the front desk smiled and said you don't want to live on higher floors as there were rented out to refugee families and they are very noisy.nWhen we got into the room and turned on the bathroom lights, I saw cockroaches running around and black flies near the sink. I started killing the bugs as I don't want to scare my wife and kids. Plus, it was too late to find another hotel.nWhen my son wanted to shower, he noticed the body soap bottle was emptied so my wife called the front desk. The guy at the front desk called back 5 minutes later and said he couldn't locate the liquid body soap. We then asked for the bar soap and he said no one is available to look after the front desk to allow him to go look for bar soap. Another 5 minutes gone by, he knocked on the door and gave us a couple small bar hand soaps. . At the end, we showered using the bar soap. The faucet was leaky so the whole night we were listening to the sound of running water. The next morning, I was woken up by the scream of my wife. She saw a cockroach clawing on the wall next to her. I had to get up and kill it. She said enough is enough, we are not coming back to this hotel. Very disappointed! Sorry for the lengthy review. I just hope no one has to experience what we had experienced.
This is the most disgusting “hotel” to ever exist, it smells SO bad, we stayed for 3 nights and the smell never stopped, it only got worse, I made the mistake to come here TWICE, i thought the second time would be better but first red flag should have been when the room door couldn’t even lock. The lobby always has people just loitering barefoot, the elevator smell is not even describable & everything is just so dirty. EVERYTHING HAS STAINS!!! the bed sheets had yellow stains, the lamps ??? , the carpet floors in the rooms. they gate keep the one communal microwave since there are none in the rooms and they have no complementary stuff. Not sure the cleaning people actually clean and change the stuff, once we got into the room the toilet paper was almost empty, everything is old and rusty, even showering doesn’t feel clean, EVEN THE TOWELS HAVE A SMELL. Don’t even get me started on the kids, they never stop being noisy, always yelling or crying. I am for housing people in need but it’s absurd to pay for a hotel room when the whole service, environment, just everything is not worth a cent. There is always people loitering around the hotel, some even set up foldable chairs and smoke, its so sketchy, might as well get a cheap motel. Some other people just yell and fight in the hallways and even had cops come knocking on doors. Just avoid this place, the owner doesn’t know how to take care of their property and grow their business, it’s so embarrassing, literally a circus in here.
We booked this hotel for one night, and we’re thankful it wasn’t any longer.nnUpon arrival, we noticed children riding bikes and playing ball in the parking lot, which was unexpected and made us uneasy, especially since we were driving a rental car and were concerned about potential damage.nnThe lobby had a strong smell of cooking, and unfortunately, the elevator was both unclean and had a very unpleasant odor, reminiscent of garbage. In the hallways, we saw multiple bags of trash and children’s toys left unattended, which made the environment feel neglected and chaotic.nnAfter some online research, we found out that the property is currently being used as a refugee shelter, which clarified many of the concerns we had. However, this was not mentioned on the booking platform, and we feel that it should have been disclosed clearly.nnThe hotel itself was outdated, poorly maintained, and not clean by typical hotel standards. Although advertised as a 3-star property, the experience we had was far below that level.nnUnfortunately, this stay has made us question the reliability of ratings on Agoda, and we will be much more cautious with future bookings, especially with properties under the Days Inn brand.
I came in on June 24th and left a $200 refundable deposit for a room. When I returned to collect it, the receptionist told me there was no record of any deposit, which she admitted was strange. She said only the manager could resolve it and advised me to come back when he was in.nnA week later, I returned and spoke to the same receptionist who originally checked me in. He was polite and genuinely tried to help, but still couldn’t issue the refund. He assured me that if I came back when the manager was there, it would be resolved.nnNow, it’s July 31st. This was my fifth visit, and yet again, I was told the same thing—that I need to come back when someone else is in. Every time I come, I’m given a different excuse, and no one takes responsibility for resolving the issue.nnAt this point, it feels like I’m being given the runaround. A refundable deposit shouldn’t take over a month and five visits to be returned. I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and poor customer service from everyone except the original male receptionist.nnMoney doesn’t just disappear from thin air
