Clarion Hotel

Fantastic Hotel! The parade here are EXCEPTIONAL. The GM went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic experience after a hiccup with checking in. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the pillows are so fluffy. The breakfast is awesome and the food at Nell’s was great. Thanks for a wonderful experience. I will be back!

Had a great stay here over the 4th of July weekend. Room was beautiful. Has a western kind of feel. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant inside was really good as well. My only complaint was that there is no outlets in the bathrooms which I found strange. Otherwise it was nice and the price wasn’t terrible either. I would definitely stay here again!

When we arrive the front desk staff was very busy with other check-ins. I mistakenly booked the wrong suite on Booking.com. I showed the picture of the room to one of the front desk staff and she explained that room was the handicap room. I told her I was disabled and was really hoping for a 1st floor room. She immediately looked to see if it was available. I was so pleased it was and she went with me to the original suite to help me gather my belongings and escorted me to the suite I was hoping to get.nThe suite was amazing! The entire staff was very nice and helpful.nThe cleaning staff bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed.

Rooms are nice and clean. Bed was more firm than desired, but still comfortable. Location is close to food options. Te staff was very nice and accommodating too.nnThe website said the hotel charges $50 for up to 2 pets, but when I arrived the attendant said it was supposed to be $50.per per, but they honored what the website said. The website also said there was free breakfast, but that is apparently not true either. So they need to update the information on their website in the Marriott app. Despite these issues, the staff was wonderful and did everything to make our stay comfortable.

We recently stayed here on our trip to Idaho. I had high hopes based on past reviews, but I should have checked the most recent ones. I noticed that most reviewed this as the Clarion, which is a hotel line we’ve loved. I figured it was just a name change, but it seems to be a complete management and company change.nnThe room was comfortable though the beds were extremely firm - I didn’t sleep well. We had the A/C on but my husband felt hot all night and he’s usually the most tolerant to warm sleeping conditions.The pool looked nice, but we didn’t use it. All the reviews and where we booked online through our chase credit card said there was a free breakfast. When my husband checked in, they said it was $5 a person. It was a little annoying since we chose this hotel for an included breakfast, but it was fine.nnHowever, the breakfast left much to be desired. At full service, it would probably be good. They had a made to order egg section. But they were out of all the vegetables. The waffle maker was out of batter, and there was only a dribble of orange juice left. The sausage and potatoes were gone when we arrived too. We were told they had a busy morning - but if you are making guests pay for breakfast, the food shouldn’t run out by 8:30. The hostess was apologetic, but it was frustrating.nnWe also had a variety of charges on our card. I understand hotels put holds, but it was very confusing what they did. We had one pending charge for $50, and then two additional charges that were random amounts that added up to $50. They told my husband this is just what they do, but couldn’t explain two. We thought they might be that they charged us $10 a person for breakfast be aware - in fine print on the actual website it says breakfast may be between $10 and $25. Not sure why there’s a range.nnThey said they’d figure it out, but it felt disorganized. I think the staff was nice but under trained.nnWe are on our way back tonight and will not be staying here.
