We came in late at night well after midnight and were greeted by one of the nicest front desk agents I've encountered in our travels. I believe her name was Nuvia. She was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating of my request for a ground floor room, despite a day of computer issues. I was exhausted and she was the perfect combination of someone who was helpful but not overdone. I'd come back just because she was a great ambassador.nnThe whole hotel was remodeled. The room was spacious and quiet. It had 2 queen beds, a small stool, and a small refrigerator - we just needed the beds. The bathroom was clean and bright, and had a nightlight that made it so you didn't have to turn on the lights if you got up in the middle of the night.nnIn the morning we took advantage of the bagels available for breakfast, the coffee, and juice. They also had fruit, yogurt, and a few other things, but we didn't have anything else.nnThe attendant in the breakfast room and the manager at the front desk were also really kind.nnIf you're going through Rock Springs, head to Spark.
Perfect for a family long hauling it across I-80. It’s in an older building that’s been remodeled but it’s nicely done and it’s CLEAN!!nnAll staff were very friendly. Breakfast was high quality but limited don’t expect a lot of protein or gluten-free options, except for boiled eggs. For reference, the breakfast is far better than a Best Western but not quite as nice as a Holiday Inn Express. I have 0 complaints because the price was outstanding! We paid around $100 after taxes and fees for one night. Cannot beat that! So many hotels along I-80 are spendy for what they offer anymore. For the first time in a long time I felt that we got a fair deal and left very happy and well rested.nnThere is a mini fridge in the room, but the microwave is communal. But who really needs that in the room anyway?nnShower and bathroom were clean and spacious, with nice soaps and shampoos on hand.nnAll in all I feel that this is an outstanding value for the price paid. I would rate this the best budget hotel we have found in WY!
I highly recommend this hotel.i would definitely stay here again. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was exceptional, especially Kathy at the front desk. She was very helpful, accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was your typical complimentary breakfast. Nothing to write home abt. Very near restaurants, gas stations and a mall. Mickey
If you are debating for even a second longer you are going to miss out on possibly your most favorite hotel yet! This hotel has been incredible! The TVs were programmed with a greeting to me upon walking in the room which was such a neat touch! It is so close to the interstate, restaurants and shopping. The staff have all been very welcoming and accommodating. Earlier today I went tonRoss with my family and found an inflatable volleyball net and floaty. I called the hotel to ask if they would let us use them here if we were considerate of the other guests. They had no problem with it and were so kind! The rooms are beautiful, inviting and have a spa feel. The mattress and pillow are actually very comfortable! This has been my family’s favorite hotel out of the three+ weeks we have been traveling which says a lot since we mainly stayed at a new hotel each night except for the exception in 4 different cities where we stayed for two nights. I highly recommend this hotel! Thank you Rock Springs Wyoming Spark! I will definitely be looking for more opportunities to stay at your hotels in the future!
We were very disappointed by not having a coffee maker or a microwave in the room. Also, the refrigerator is so small we could barely fit anything in it. We typically like to stay on the top floor, but with no elevator we were not about to carry our luggage up the stairs. Also, we understand buildings that are only two floors are not required to have fire sprinklers in the room, but in hotels it should be standard practice. We also understand that it is important for people to have the opportunity to bring their pets into their rooms with them, however there must have been some left over dander in the room because I was having issues with my asthma.nThe staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us as much as possible. The room and common areas were very clean.
