Cilantro offers daily and nightly features with our specialties being flat bread style pizzas, homemade pastas, along with many different appetizers, salads, and entrees, something to suit everyone's tastes.

Story

Cilantro is a seventy seat upscale casual style restaurant, with an additional fifty seat enclosed patio and veranda. Surrounded by white lights above in the trees and our luscious Virginia Creepers, Cilantro remains the casual, cozy and quaint atmosphere that we have been known for more than twenty years.

I didn't enjoy the New Years eve 5- course dinner yesterday. The meals were small and there was nothing 'special' or 'unique' about them. It was 95$ which is much over priced for what we received, our expectations were high because of the high price. The only meal I actually enjoyed was the beef tartare which was delicious. The atmosphere and service were nice as well, But other than that, all the other meals were only OK. The entree that I chose- which was the lamb chops were served warm- not hot and the meat tasted a little dry. The sauce was very weird tasting as well. From this experience I really don't think that I will come back.

If you're looking for somewhere to go that's going to pay attention to detail and make sure that you are well taken care of, this is the place to go. The staff was just amazing and so friendly. Even if the food was bad (which it WAS NOT) I would go back.

We rented out the restaurant for our wedding and it was the best night ever. The staff was incredible and attentive to every minor detail including making an impromptu triple decker grilled cheese sandwich for a little guest. The food was amazing our guests are still raving. The venue was perfect for our event. If I could give a higher star rating I would. Thank you guys again it was the best night ever.

This restaurant was my favourite when I lived in Calgary a decade ago. I went back for the first time in 10 years last night and am glad to say its still fantastic! I wish this restaurant would follow me back to Edmonton and open another location there. The only small thing missing was a tequila cocktail on their drink menu, but the Beer Iced Tea was quite a nice surprise in lieu.
