We stayed here Dec 22 as part of an anniversary trip to visit the Christmas market. The location is great, super close to the Eaton Centre and lots of food options nearby.nParking was super easy and not very busy.nWe got a free upgrade to an executive room on the 26th floor which was amazing!! The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable.nWhen we got back to our room at the end of the night we found our TV remote was dead but we called the front desk and a new one was immediately sent up- great service.nMy only complaint is that there was no shower products in our room.. every bottle in the shower was empty. I ended up having to wait to get home the evening that we checked out to shower
A Fantastic Family-Friendly Stay at the Chelsea Hotel, TorontonnWe had a truly wonderful experience at the Chelsea Hotel. It’s one of those rare large downtown hotels that genuinely understands what families need. Even with construction underway on the kids’ pool, the team handled everything with real care: they opened up the 27th-floor pool for families and moved the kids’ room—complete with bunnies—into the 27th-floor lounge. My girls absolutely loved it, and the staff went out of their way to engage with them and make sure they had fun.nnThe hotel is close to everything, which made exploring the city effortless. The buffet offered great food at very reasonable prices, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and easy.nnA small improvement: encouraging smokers to move away from the Gerrard Street doors would make the arrival experience even better. That said, using the Elm or Bay Street entrances offers plenty of space and a much nicer approach into the hotel.nnA quick shoutout to the auto check-in/out machines as well—they worked seamlessly and were a huge help during the few moments when there was a line.nnOverall, the Chelsea Hotel really impressed us. Thoughtful, family-centric, friendly, and incredibly convenient. We’ll absolutely be back.
We were on the 14 floor and we were facing other buildings, so we couldn't get a good view, the beds were comfortable, the food was good, they were always respectful, the pool was always crowded but I had a really good time. They even had a children section, there were bunnies and games for children on the same floor with the pool, and there are workers as supervisors. The tv had great shows on air. And there was a Chinese market like 3 minutes away I went to when I wanted to get a snack.
Our stay at chelsea hotel was lovely and everything was so smooth. We booked through the app and even though their was an issue with card validation, the hotel contacted us and resolved it promptly before we traveled. They allowed us to check in very early at a fee and check out a bit later with no cost and our room was so nice.nnThe hotel staff is extremely friendly, especially Aqib Ahmed who helped us with everything from directions to city recommendations and booking a tour to Niagra Falls through the hotel which made everything super easy for us. He was such a delight to speak to, incredibly friendly, and super helpful and knowledgeable about the city where he became our go to for any questions related to the hotel or our stay in general and he did not disappoint whatsoever, our daily interactions with him were such a highlight for us!
Really nice hotel and the perfect location for getting around Toronto. Walls can be pretty thin, so bring earplugs for sleeping. Also the pool is very very small, so although they cheekily say you can swim laps, don't expect a 25-m length. I also found the elevators to be poorly marked. It would be very helpful especially coming back from the pool if the elevators were marked from the outside as to which floors they returned to. I had to go back down to the lobby in order to get into the right elevators to get to my room. Overall very nice hotel and would recommend.
