Chateau Moncton Hotel & Suites, an Ascend Collection

Lovely location with a clean and spacious room. The view of rhe river is nice and relaxing and the hotel is kept well clean and seem updated. The breakfast was adequate.nnSome of the servers could be a little more friendly. The hallways are a bit¹ dark and seems creepy and the front desk workers seem a bit uncertain.nnThis however did not significantly affect my stay and I loved the charm of the building and the history that it sits atop of.nnAlso, at least two bottles of water could be provided for each room.

Great location, for walking on the boardwalk. Opening windows a big bonus clean comfortable rooms and someone to serve you breakfast instead of a free for all touching everything. Free parking.

Château Moncton is a fantastic spot right by the Petitcodiac River in downtown Moncton! Watching the tidal bore from my suite’s balcony was such a vibe. The free breakfast buffet was stacked with eggs, bacon, and waffles, fueling me up before a quick gym session or kicking back at Le Galion bar with river-view drinks. It’s super close to awesome pubs, museums, and restaurants, and the free parking was a nice bonus. Great Maritimes getaway, I’m already stoked to return!

Best hotel in town and awesome view of the tidal bore... The front desk lady Louise is a pro!! Very nice and if I was the boss she'd be getting a raise!! The rooms were clean and overall its 5 star in my opinion...

Stayed here for 4 days and used it as our hub to several places. Hopewell Rocks is about 40 minutes away. Fundy National Park is about an hour.nnWe had a room on the street side. It was a bit noisy but not too bad. I would recommend to stay on the water side. Our room was a King suite and it was huge. The bathroom was clean and quite large. We had two tvs and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was good.nnFind out about the Bore while there as it is quite interesting. It’s about 20 minutes to magnetic hill and the casino.nnThere are many restaurants within walking distance.nnThe staff was pleasant and tried to make our stay very good.
