I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Moncton Downtown during a business trip, and I must say it was a fantastic experience! I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Crowne Plaza. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued. The check-in process was smooth, and the team was incredibly attentive, offering helpful tips and recommendations for local attractions.nnWhat really stood out, however, was the proactiveness of the management. The managers were visible, approachable, and genuinely focused on ensuring every guest’s needs were met. They consistently checked in to make sure my stay was going smoothly, and I was impressed by how they handled any small requests or concerns with professionalism and warmth.nnThe hotel itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of great service, attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-tier experience.
I have been in a lot of hotels but the staff at this hotel is something else. Wow everyone was so friendly from the front desk to even the guy in the parking lot. We had the chance to talk to the assistant manager a man call Harvey, he took the time to explain to us everything that was happening around the hotel that night,suggested a few good restaurants. The room was super clean. Bed was very comfortable. And if you have the chance try the Baton Rouge restaurant in the hotel, amazing food and friendly staff. This is the hotel i will stay at for my next trip to Moncton for sure. Highly recommend.
Start to finish, my stay was fantastic. The girl that checked me in was very pleasant. She acknowledged my IHGOne rewards membership, and offered extra service if needed. Upon my entry to my room, was a hand written personal note from my room attendant. She was very thorough on the cleanliness greatly appreciated. my server in baton rouge was top notch, and was there for everything I needed. The other host an middle eastern man was very kind and gave me a tour of the rest of the restaurant. The food was fantastic. My shower in the morning was unmatched, and the water pressure was perfect. I had a fantastic sleep, and will be back for SURE!!
We booked this hotel based on their advertisement of being ‘pet friendly’ & we looked at other hotels in the area marketing the same thing with fees associated. The Crowne doesn’t explicitly list their ‘pet fee’ so it’s basically an unknown cost until you check in at the front desk. We assumed that since they didn’t list it as clearly or at all as we were not able to find it anywhere on their site as the other hotels that the fee was nominal if at all an actual cost to expect.nnWe expressed concern & disappointment to the front desk agent at the time of check in but she was dismissive & told us to speak with the manager in the morning if we wished. We did & thankfully, the front desk agent mentioned that he’s tried to bring this to management in the past & does see it as a failure to be price transparent to their guests. Our pet fee was waived which I felt good about because we always bring our dogs’ bed & are very conscientious about leaving the room in a respectful way.nnI think the main problem here is that the hotel does not list the price related to pet stays in a transparent way that should be as easy to see as the going room rates. It’s misleading to consumers and throws shade upon the initial check in experience. The pet fee is still very competitive to other hotels in the area. Otherwise, the rooms are standard fair & I have no other complaints.nnIn my mind, when the prices for pets are not as clear as they are for humans, it’s like ‘lying to your customers by omission’. It just felt a bit like the pet fee was ‘sprung’ on us at check in. For that reason, when we return to Moncton, this hotel won’t be part of our stay.nnHowever, I will say that their breakfast was really good value, delicious and we had a very kind, attentive waitress. The room was clean, quiet and I did enjoy the lovely hand written note.
