Thank you Crowne Plaza for the hospitality. Vita and Tess are both delivering high quality customer service in a very natural way, and I appreciate that. The breakfast menu is great, and I highly recommend the Banana bread french toast. Bedding was the coziest and most comfortable I've had recently. Thanks for the kind messages from Vita and Katey... Though 3 cards might be a bit much
Not usually picky on where we sleep, I mean we're usually car campers. Came her for one night after staying at the Hyatt. The Crowne Plaza is quite old, so the walls seem thin, you can hear neighbours and LOTS from the hallways, especially children running around late or early. We were on the 6th floor and someone we know was on the 2nd floor, she also had lots of noise from children and neighbours, children trying to get into her room through the shared door late at night and being loud in the morning. At the Hyatt you hear NOTHING unless there's someone by your door. Even outside noises are much louder here than there. It's an alright place to sleep if you're just looking to have a bed to sleep in. This hotel is also oddly dry... if you suffer from dry skin, psoriasis or eczema I would NOT recommend staying here, even noticed eyes feeling dry. Our room seemed less cared for by cleaners, the window seems to maybe have had previous drips inside? Looks like salt stains, and the handwash is a pump, ours didn't work so we had to take the pump out of the bottle to use it. Our friend on the 2nd floor said her room was very clean and cared for though, but agreed with the noise. Understandably kids will be kids and parents will be well whatever, but you'd assume they'd maybe put children guests on the same floors rather than spread around the whole hotel.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Super clean and staff is very friendly. We had a slight issue with our room no 2 queens available but they ended up giving us 2 king rooms for the price of the one room. All worked out. Baton Rouge is a really good restaurant and was a nice plus to have right there without leaving. Pool/hot tub/steam room was so nice. There were kids hockey teams there and it was kinda annoying but they were just having fun.nHotel is super clean.nMy only complaint would be the parking lot, it is not free which should be for the price And is not a large parking lot for the size of hotel, very congested.
We are having a great time at the Crowne Plaza Hotel so far! The staff is lovely and welcoming. A personalized envelope was slipped under the door welcoming us to the hotel with a contact name and information if we needed anything as well Marc and Laura as to invite us to their guest appreciation night and a free appetizer for the hotel restaurant.nAll of the staff seem to be eager to help and accommodate the guests shout out to Leonardo who I mention in the restaurant/food section in the review belownThe crown Plaza downtown Moncton is a great location with good food, clean rooms and exceptional service. We would definitely come back!
The location is great, close to everything downtown Moncton. The entry is less good, a couple of spots to pull off the street and go check in with stairs, not sure where the accessible entrance would be for someone checking in. I was 4th in line to check in when one staffer left the desk and a manager I believe walked away and there was several people behind me. The clerk working was great, but clearly over worked trying to check in multiple people at the same time. The elevatorthis is petty has a Lobby, Ground and a 1st floor. Godspeed knowing where you are lol, just a really confusing decision. The room was nice enough, the bed was hard as a rock though and street noise was loud, barely slept and grateful it was only one night. $16 a day for paid parking feels steep for such a small town.
