Owner wouldn't let me check in because I wanted to have my dog sleep in the car overnight. She said there wasn't enough air in the car for the dog to breathe. Can't comment on the quality of the rooms because the owner's canine asphyxiation concerns meant I had to make alternative arrangements.

Hidden Gem! This was a last-minute booking when our travel plans unexpectedly changed. After a very long day, we arrived and were greeted by the two lovely hosts. So welcoming & friendly!! We rented the queen room with ensuite bathroom. It was spacious & clean...the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was fabulous! (A deep soaking tub and a really great shower head). On top of all that, even with this low price, they feed you breakfast :) Eggs, toast, coffee/tea and fresh fruit to get your day started right. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

The bed and breakfast is not very fancy but the place had some period features (woodwork). The room was comfortable. It had its own bathroom with modern fixtures. The bed was a bit firm for my liking but that is just my opinion. Our hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was simple but free. Quite inexpensive compared to regular hotels. Walking distance to Main street.

I feel bad rating it so low because the couple was really nice, but the carpet was full of stains, the decor was old and outdated, the breakfast consisted of wine grapes, eggs that were not whisked but scrambled in the pan and cooked in dirty oil, and two pieces of dry toast. Also, there was thick black folgers. I mean, we still paid 100$ to stay there so it's not like it was that much cheaper! Pretty disappointed and was not really sure why so many people gave it a decent rating.

Friendly hosts, great breakfasts; comfortable room, good location for walking to downtown Monon sites.
