really disgusted with quality of quantity of food at this place. you pay $15 for 90% for water and not even 10% vegetable for a mix vegetable dish. taste was awe full.. these Indian restaurants popping up all over paces on bloor st are really robbing peoples.. Nan are available on grocery stores for $1.99 for 5 pack... .they dont even make own NAN. small couple of pieces of vegetable..really shame on the peoples who run this place.Better spend your money some where else... Pictures proof... What is called mix vegetable.. here is picture of what is called a mix vegetable... You are cheating client's with adding tons of water on Curries and buying Nan from grocery store for $1.99 for 5 and sell then $3 each.. that's shame....
Writing review after second visit. During my first visit I ordered chicken kadai and roti along with Shrimps Biryani, taste was amazing, roti was really soft and Biryani was good. I had ordered the same dish during my second visit, kadai chicken was good but the roti was papad and Biryani was really bad and did not taste like Biryani at all.
I used to order from this place all the time but had my first roti in a few months Lamb Korma and it was absolutely terrible. Every piece of meat was tough, fatty and chewy, the roti itself was bland and dry and the flavour was so-so. Disappointing! Wondering whether it's under new management or there's a new chef?Food: 1/5
Really enjoyed the food and will keep coming back! I especially enjoyed the biryani. It is only take-out though they have a bit of seating in the restaurant, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Tasted great! I ask them for their recommendation of non-meat rotis, got the kadai paneer roti, was literally a giant pocket of flavour. It was served very fresh and hot though there was a 10-15 minute wait and the moment I cut into it the smell of all the spice just blasted in the air 10/10 Portion wise, very big, could not finish it by myself Would recommend eating it the moment you get it, taste best steaming hot
Hands down to THE BEST BIRYANI in the city of Toronto. Also their new item KADAI CHICKEN !!!! Wooaaahh!!!! Just 2 mins walk from Subway station makes it easy for us not to miss this place. The best Indian eatery Toronto could ever have. Long live the Cheff long live Bombay Roti.
I usually never write reviews for restaurants, but I thought this would help someone. I got the butter chicken and the samosas. The samosas were delicious! The butter chicken also wasn't too bad. However, the food made me incredibly sick, and I had to throw up all night to get it out of my system. So, if you're considering this place, be aware that it might make you really sick. Though it is fair to say that my friend also ordered from here with me, and she wasn't sick at all.
This was my favourite place for Butter chicken roti since 2020 and i have been there with my friends more than 20-30 times but this time the experience was really bad . The taste was really bad and it’s not how they make. Please bring back your authentic way of cooking Roti. ThanksFood: 1/5
This place has excellent flavours and their spice levels are awesome! Asking for extra spicy will truly give you some great spice to your dish that doesn't overpower the meal. The packaging for takeout is great and I haven't had a bad experience with anything on the menu yet! A go to place for roti.
I had a Kathi roll with butter and chicken. The taste wasn't bad. I'm not sure about the hygiene. I asked what Tikka sauce is, but the explanation didn't really help. Not very friendly service. I love Indian food, I guess that's the reason I didn't hate it.Food: 3/5
