Went here after seeing it on the Michelin Guide and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and authentic, with a modern touch. The cocktail menu was very intriguing and creative as well. The presentation of several dishes and drinks was fantastic, especially the Himalayan cocktail. Overall, a great experience that I highly recommend if you're a fan of Indian cuisine.
Adrak is a upscale Indian cuisine near Yorkville and neighbor to the finest restaurants in the town. Price range: very expensive, a bit unreasonable. Although it is located in an expensive area, the service didn’t justify the price tag. Service: is far from perfect. Wait time for us to get seated is more 10 min, although we had booking, the waiters didn’t behave to 5-stars standards. Cocktails: very well decorated and unique flavors yet not professional and a bit overpriced. Food: flavors were good for some, yet mixed and indistinguishable for most. The put effort on presentation yet compromise some authenyicity. Portions: are small and you need to order many plates.
It is by far the best dining experience I have had while in Toronto. All the staff, from reception, servers, managers and others were absolutely first class. Adrak has brought a whole new prospective for me with fine dining, Indian style. Kudos to staff, and I will be back again to both Adrak, and fine folks at Park Hyatt who recommended me this place. Parking: Valet
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Adrak Yorkville. The ambience of the restaurant is amazing, and gives a really relaxed vibe. The service is absolutely amazing, our waiter was very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, and helped serve each dish after placing in on the table. The drinks were very good and creative. We all thought the food was very good and possibly the best Indian food we’ve had in a long time. Highly reccomend.
This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The ambience, the drinks were absolutely fantastic & some had some great shows. It’s a higher end restaurant with one of the most friendly staff I’ve ever seen. They were very informative of the menu, spices & explanation. I’m extremely satisfied & will 100% be back.
The food and service here are impeccable! We went with the servers recommendation of thecha paneer and ended up ordering another plate! It's a fine dining experience that shouldn't be missed. A huge thank you to the whole team for cooking amazing food, serving it in their unique ways and ensuring we were having a good time
The food was amazing! Beautiful ambiance. Very friendly staff. We loved everything about this restaurant. 10/10 recommend and we’ll definitely be back.
Docking one star for rushing us to decide what to order and for cramped seating. Everything else was great. Food is pricey, but that's expected given it's an upscale restaurant in an upscale neighbourhood. They place heavy emphasis on the food and drinks presentation. Although the food is not overly spicy, it tastes good regardless. Rani kachori, paneer tikka, and the lamb Biryani were the highlights for us. Interesting indian fusion on cocktails and desserts. Worth a shot, imo. Servers are attentive and polite. The restaurant is in an upscale neighbourhood where real estate is a valued commodity. Can see them maximizing use of space by fitting in as many tables as possible.
From the minute we walked in, to the minute we walked out the staff, their friendliness and service was top tier! Vivek helped us navigate the menu with his recommendations, Rakesh with uniquely themed cocktails and the rest of the staff kept checking in regularly through out the meal. The Rani kachori was our favourite not just for presentation but all the flavours you get in every bite! The price tag is a bit steep but it is an upscale restaurant and you're paying for an experience, my one recommendation would be to reduce the price of the signature cocktails as they shouldn't cost the same as a small plate.
Quite simply one of the most memorable experiences. We tried a variety of dishes and it’s hard to pick a favourite because they were all very delicious but definitely their lamb chops! - their staff specially Sonny was very professional and extremely courteous. Will definitely visit again soon.
