It is rare that I rate a product or service higher than 4. I tried a few variations of Beyond The Batter cupcakes and they were some of the best I have ever had. Flavourful and enjoyable but not over-the-top sweet. What convinced me that Beyond the Batter deserves 5 Stars was when I learned of this amazing company’s commitment to regular donations at The Ronald McDonald House of Hamilton. Excellent investment of your resources!! Great job Beyond The Batter!!

I had a truly excellent gluten free cake batter cupcake tonight. I could honestly not taste a difference, which is so amazing because as someone with gluten sensitivity, nothing tastes the same. Awesome!

They won't hold an order without advanced payment, which is fine, but items were missing from order (discovered once we got home). Called and were told they'd refund us but we needed the missing item for our group. Said we would have to come up and get it. Asked for extra cupcake for our trouble and then got scolded that it was our fault for the confusion because we called back (once!) to change our order. She wasn't confused when she charged my cc for all we'd ordered. So we drove up and got the rest of our order and a free cupcake, which apparently ended up replacing any kind of apology for their mistake. Won't return anytime soon. Shame. EDIT: the free cupcake was at least a day old!!! (We compared to the other one we'd received in the first order). Nice touch.

Beyond the Batter did our wedding cake and cupcakes. Everything looked and tasted delicious. They were very professional and organized. I would highly recommend them.

Super delicious cupcakes if a bit overpriced, the staff is always super friendly here. My only thing is if you go later in the day sometimes the cupcakes tend to taste a bit dried out. it's a shame they only have certain flavours on certain days- sometimes the selection isn't as great as other days.
