Fortinos

We shop at Fortinos in Stoney Creek because they set themselves apart from the other locations. The friendly and personal service adds to the experience. Nowadays you get what you pay for . The meat and produce is excellent and why eat out when you can take out or eat in at their amazing prepared food sections that have the same high quality .

Fortinos is the best grocery around, fresh produce and selection of meats. Also love their options for take out food, from their pizzas to noodle bar, bakery its so much more than just a grocery.nI get items here i can't get at another store. I miss this place dearly since i moved, please come to Niagara falls.

this is the closest fortinos to my house, even though it's pricey but we really enjoy shopping there, their fruits and veges are always fresh. I wish they would offer more options though, Real Canadian Superstore and 50 point butcher shop both carry all beef salami. It would be nice to get more accessible halal/gluten free/fairy free fresh options.nnmaybe consider fresh gluten free bread or pizza? options for people with dietary restrictions, there's a lot of us out there!

This place is very ridiculous!!nThey just lost a potential customer who spends about $400 on groceries monthly.nI purchase a leg of lamb on December 17, 2024 and a few other stuff. I forgot to ask the butcher to cut it up for me. I went to customer service and ask to speak to the manager. I explained to her and kindly ask her if the butcher can cut up the lamb. I showed her the transaction on my bank app since I didn't have the receipt. She called her manager and he said it is not possible because there is a law prohibiting that. I ask her whether if it is a Canadian Law or a company law. She doesn't know. She could have easily check the system and retrieve the transaction receipt using my credit card number to verify it was indeed an authenticatic transaction. I also had my ID on me. Very inhumane company. I felt I embarrassed myself by just asking the company to slice a chunk of meat which I bought from it. I'll be avoiding this company going forward.

This is our Go To grocery store. For weekly groceries. Quick dinner ideas, etc.nI went to get some soup for a sick person at my house tonight & the young lady at the soup counter was very rude.nI walked away shaking my head.nA hour later. Someone from my house went to go get more soup and came home saying the exact same thing. The young lady was ignorant and just barked at her : we’re closed !!n… not, Sorry, but we do have some in the fridge. You can get.nWe did learn that was an option while wondering why the young lady was like how she was.nThis person should not be doing what she’s doing if she’s that unhappy doing it. You don’t treat customers in retail like that. We have options on where we spend our money.nMaybe a hello, smile and thanks?nNot asking for much.
