Welcome! We create custom cakes and cupcakes for all special occasions.

Story

Professional, licensed cake artist specializing in wedding and special occasion cakes, sweet tables and confectionery arts.

All our cakes and cupcakes are made of fresh, wholesome and quality ingredients and are baked to order. We use organic ingredients whenever possible. If organic is your preference we make sure that 100% of ingredients come from organic sources.

GLUTEN FREE:
Our cakes and cupcakes are also available in Gluten Free options.

All designs are custom made to your specifications. As each cake or set of cupcakes are individually created and customized to your vision, the price can only be determined upon consultation, therefore do not hesitate to contact us for further information and pricing. Let us know: how many people are attending your special event; what flavours you would like; would you like a tiered or single layer cake; is there a theme that you might prefer; colours of choice etc. Anything you might think of that will help us serve you better.

Maria did such a phenomenal job on our wedding cake! I have a big sweet tooth and it was important to me to have something both beautiful and delicious, and we were not disappointed. Our guests said that this was the best wedding cake they ever had, and thought the cake was a piece of art itself that matched well with our venue the AGH. I would definitely recommend working with Maria to make your wedding cake dreams a reality!
Maria has carefully taken consideration of all the details I wanted in my son's bee cake. From the hive on top, to the splash of blue on the wings to the honey combs pieces, and the bee opening the door. I am very pleased because quite often my wishes are disregarded or the specific details I hoped for are missed. The cake was absolutely so cute. It was what I wanted but more. My husband who is not a fan of sweets ate a great portion of the cake. The cake was smooth and buttery with just the perfect crunch. It was mouth watering and melts in your mouth. Best cake yet! Thank you Maria again!
Maria of Sweet Avenue Cakery was absolutely wonderful. The cake was beautiful, the sugar flowers were exquisite, and each of the tiers different flavours were delicious! We wanted a cake that tasted as good as it looked, and Maria made that happen. She was transparent about the cost, the timing, the delivery, etc., and made the whole process easy. Our wedding was beyond her usual delivery range, but there were no problems getting it to the venue. My only regret is that everyone loved the cake so much that we didn't have any leftovers!
Ordered a couple of times, first time had a good experience. However last order did not go as well. The cake looked absolutely stunning with so much amazing detail. However, taste was lacking the same effect. Flavours ordered were strawberry vanilla and chocolate caramel. I had over 20 guests and this was the only desert I planned to serve and not a single person ate it after trying the first bite. After spending $450 I was really disappointed to throw out almost all of the cake from plates. Even more disappointing is when I sent an email to Maria giving her my honest feedback, sad to say I never even got a reply back. It’s unfortunate but I won’t be ordering from here in the future.
OMG FIRST OF ALL THANK YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH MARIA!! I want to thank you for the beautiful cake that you recreated from an Instagram photo for me. We got soooo many compliments and not only was it beautiful it was sooooo delicious. IT's very hard to trust someone to make a cake for your special day but I am so happy I trusted you to recrate it. Had a wonderful lemon and raspberry cake, designed to look like a gift bag! Not only was it beautifully done, it tasted wonderful! Everyone who ate it was so impressed by the flavour! Just a wonderful job over all! Thank you so much!
Maria at Sweet Avenue Cakery was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. She is kind, professional, and has a serious talent when it comes to making incredibly delicious cakes and cupcakes! Maria let us sample her cakes before making our decision, and all her flavours were so good it was actually a little hard to decide! The day of our wedding, everything was delivered in a timely manner, looking beautifully decorated. I almost didn't get a chance to try the cupcakes we ordered for our guests, as there were only 4 left by the time I made it to the cake table! We will definitely be ordering from her again for our next family event. I highly, highly recommend Sweet Avenue Cakery for your wedding/event. The carrot cake, and chocolate hazelnut flavours are incredible!!
Sweet Avenue Cakery did our wedding cake for us and it was amazing! It's the perfect amount of sweetness and you will find no better cake. The artistry of our cake was beautiful as well. I would 100% reccomend.
Incredible value for money! The cake was larger than anticipated, absolutely delicious we went for an earl grey flavour, and it was beautiful. I would definitely order from her again!
Maria is absolutely amazing- not only are her cakes the most beautiful I've ever seen, but they are also DELICIOUS! We were beyond happy with the wedding cake she created for our February wedding and really enjoyed working with her.
