Good Restaurant. Good Food. I had visited Banjara Indian Restaurant, at 777 Danforth Rd in Scarborough yesterday on April 09, 2024 at about 06:09 PM. It was a good experience visiting this restaurant. This was my 4th or 5th time visiting this restaurant. I had bought 1 Butter Chicken and 4 Naans. This restaurant is the closest restaurant to the place I am staying at currently. Its less than about half a kilometre from my apartment, so its just walking distance from my place. There were a good variety of food items available at this restaurant such as Noodles, Fried Rice, Indo Chinese Soups, Idly Dosas, Soft Drinks, Desserts, Beverages, Side Orders, Biriyani Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian Option, Meat, Seafood Currys, Kothu Paratas, breads and other vegetarian dishes, salads, pakoras, Tandoori Veg and Non Veg Options and different curies like butter chicken, Chicken Korma and Chicken Kadai. I ordered the veg biryani from Uber which was buy one get one free. The freshness of the vegetables used was zero, bad taste of the oil used in it and when we received it it wasn't hot as there is no distance problem to the restaurant which can excuse that food might get cold which definitely proves that the food is stale. Won't ever recommend and order biryani from here.

I ordered triple chicken noodles and it was the saddest ever. It's like the chef or the cook doesn't even know what he's cooked. In chicken triple noodles I was expecting gravy, omelet and chicken noodles +rice. I only got chicken noodles+rice.
Had this happen couple of times already. It isn’t like what I had had when they first opened. Thought there must have been some mistakes. But by today’s order, I must say they have definitely degraded in terms of their food standards. It tastes and looks like me cooking as beginner at home. Sorry to say, but it’s not worth your money at all.nWe’ve ordered biryani- you make to look deep to find the chicken pieces in it also masala dosa is so bland and they serve is broken pieces of the roti along with the filling.nnFYI: I reminded them before I placed my order that it had been couple of times, the order wasn’t good, but still the same! No changes.nnWell this is it for me. Won’t be ordering anything from them now.
