I visited Leela Indian Food Bar on Gerrard Street and really enjoyed it. The patio has a great vibe and makes the dining experience even better.nWe tried a variety of dishes including butter chicken, chicken tikka, chicken kadai, goat curry, biryanis, samosa chaat, and gulab jamun. Everything was flavourful and satisfying, with the biryani and butter chicken being highlights.nOverall, a great spot for Indian food in Toronto with lots of menu options and good portions.
Phenomenal food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. This is a must try! It's not a large restaurant so you can't spend hours there. The samosas and egg plant fries are to die for! Portions are huge. All six of us got different things and were all very good. Mild is perfect for beginner Canadian pallets. Medium was quite spicy. Very reasonably priced. A constant lineup of Take out so that says a lot. We'll be returning!
Sunny Day Cravings Satisfied!nI was super hungry on a sunny day and came across Leela Indian Food Bar nearby. I decided to give it a try—and wow, I’m glad I did!nnThe ambience was amazing, cozy yet vibrant, and the staff was super friendly. The mojito was refreshing and balanced everything perfectly.nnTotally worth visiting, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving delicious Indian food!
This was my first time here at the Dundas West Junction location and overall the food was so delicious and full of zesty flavour! My sister loves this place so she took us all there to celebrate her birthday. Right away I loved the pink colour and warm, opulent vibe of the restaurant. It was an epic birthday lunch!nnMy favourites were the egg plant fries, charcoal butter chicken, palak paneer spinach and butter naan. And the cucumber raita really helped because I prefer mild spices and my family likes everything spicy! Had a wonderful experience at Leela on Gerrard Street! The goat curry was absolutely delicious, and the Bombay-style Chicken 65 was equally amazing. The hospitality was top-notch—the staff were warm and attentive throughout. What really stood out was their thoughtful gesture of offering water and rice curd for our little puppy. Such kindness made our visit even more special. We’ll definitely be back!
