My girlfriend and I recently visited Koshaa for her birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. I had informed the restaurant in advance and reserved a table, and they truly went above and beyond to make the evening special.nnFrom the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly nice and respectful. They had placed a beautiful candle on our table, adding a warm and personal touch to the celebration. Throughout the evening, the service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. The staff’s suggestions on the menu were spot-on, helping us navigate the options and find dishes we absolutely loved.nnTo top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert at the end of the meal, which was a delightful gesture that made the night even more special.nnOverall, the ambiance, the thoughtful service, and the delicious food made for an amazing experience. We left with full hearts and happy memories. Highly recommend for any special occasion!
Went for dinner after spending a nice day by the lakeside. We were greeted by Ushmi, who is the owner and head chef. We asked him for his recommendations and proceeded to order those.nThe chicken tikka was very succulent and soft. It was very interesting to note that it had been made using chicken breast as opposed to chicken thighs. The seasoning was on point.nThe main course came soon after. Ushmi had told us that his special butter chicken was unlike what other places sell in the name of butter chicken. It was fairly different. The colour was definitely unlike the orange, creamy curry seen at a lot of places. This was thicker and richer. He had mentioned that they use honey to cut the tartness from the tomatoes. I unfortunately found that this made it a little sweeter than I would’ve liked. I appreciated the fact that he’d mentioned it beforehand. I found that although the first 3-4 bites felt sweet, the subsequent ones were ok, probably since the palate was adjusted.nThe breads section of the menu was very fusion-y. As per Ushmi’s recommendation, we got the rosemary naan. As weird as it sounds, it was really good and tasted amazing. The olive kulcha wasn’t as great though. One didn’t really taste the olives in that.nFor dessert we got the mango kulfi. It was tasty and the sliced almonds and dried rose petals helped balance the sweetness from the kulfi.nOverall, very enjoyable experience and I look forward to going back.
We ordered special butter chicken with 3 types of naan: garlic, plain and rosemary naan. The naans were delicious and the butter chicken sauce was just right.nnFor dessert, we had the coconut kheer. The sweetness was just right.nnAlvin our server was helpful and always checking us in.nnThe atmosphere was quiet and not busy; I am grateful that the music wasn’t loud which made the atmosphere great for conversations.nnOverall, a great experience! I highly recommend.
Food was excellent! Service was great as well. We were not going to make it in time to eat and when we called he didn’t turn us down. He told us to put the order in over the phone and once we sat down our food started coming and they didn’t rush us out the door once closing time.
Excellent delicious food!! Paneer kulcha was the highlight for me and so was Olive kulcha a very nice take on the traditional kulcha. Also loved the tamatar shorba which was rich creamy and delicious. The person serving/hosting us made virgin Pina colada for me and that too was so good! My husband tried the afghani chicken tikka and he enjoyed it as well. The food is really tasty and freshly made. A definite must-try place if you visit the Humber bay park! Oh the ambience is so thought after. The walls speak of the amalgamation of Indo-Canadian culture and its very very cute.nnP.s.. how about a branch in Durham region pls :-.
