My 2 daughters have been with York Stars since their first year in public school, and now they are high school students! My little one has been in national level for couple years and now that her next step is to be a coach! I can say rhythmic gymnastics not only build the girls body, but also build up their personalities like grit, passion, respect, and so. York Stars have strong coach team and work very organized to maintain lower tuition! I am happy with them for many years and highly recommend to my friends!
My two girls have been with York Stars for 6-7 years since they were little girls who just loved to do cartwheels. Now as competitive rhythmic gymnasts, they benefited from the coaches who are very caring and supportive of the girls’ development, not only for their athletic abilities, but also for building their characters, discipline and determination. The club also fosters friendship and support among the fellow gymnasts through fun events, year-end shows, and out-of-town competitions. I always recommend the club to my friends who want to raise confident and well-rounded girls.
We are so lucky to have found York Stars when we were looking to transition our daughter from dance classes to rhythmic gymnastics. The club has become like a 'family' to us. The coaches have helped bring out the confidence in our girl and we see her growing and making friendships along the way. Julia is professional yet understanding. She really gets to know the girls and their individual potential. Along with her fellow coaches, they not only train but nurture the girls to be well-rounded athletes. We wouldn't have it any other way! :
York Stars is definitely a place to go if your are looking for a club to do rhythmic gymnastics. The coaches are friendly and encouraging, the gymnasts there are very nice, making it exceptionally easy to make life-lasting friends, and the atmosphere there is clean and very spacious. At the end of the year, there is always a year end show which everyone participates in- definitely my favorite time of the year, after competition season. York Stars offers many different programs, like individual or group competitive, pre-competitive, or recreational. Would definitely recommend this club to a friend.
I just want to say we are so glad that my daughter Phoebe trains at York Stars Rhythmic Gymnastics. All the coaches are amazing. They are responsible and care about the kids. The kids not just learn the gymnastics skills they learn all the other skills which will benefit for their whole life. We love York stars and Phoebe is also proud to be gymnast of York Stars.
We are surprised to see Niloofar Daylamipour’s review, and would like to say something about the Club that we all love. York Stars is a very loving and caring club for all ages' of gymnasts. My daughter Chantal is always excited to go the classes. To her, going to York Stars' gym class is a treat! The owner Julia is very considering and reasonable. Even though the club policy states that make up class is only for injury and sickness; she arranged makeup classes for us as long as there is a good reason. Not only that, every year the Club schedules 2 or 3 weeks of open house training free of charge during summer and winter vacation time for athletes who have missed classes. The coaches in York Stars are very good! Every coach brings the class of kids with great professionalism, positive manner, high level of energy and passion. They become my daughter's friends and sisters. Also Julia and her fellow coaches always make sure every athlete gets the best results. Whenever we are curious about Chantal’s training plan or progress, they are ready to answer. One more thing to mention is that the Club owner is also very approachable. Julia provides everyone with her cell phone, email, website, and etc. She barely let us wait for any answer. Our feeling to the Club, the owner Julia and all the coaches are, they care about our kid and they love the sports! One small example is the club never charges for late pick up; but they will be with the very last kid until her family shows up. We were late once for half an hour! In short, we are happy to be with York Stars and we trust that our daughter is in good hands. It's Chantal's 4th. year being one of the York Stars and we know that she will forever be!
Dear York Stars, We would like to thank you for great experience throughout this year. it is first year for out child, Angelina Fitz, within your club. Our daughter has been attending club and have had so much fun and learn a lot. The facility is great and meeting all standards when it comes to safety of children. All coaches are very attentive, professional and simple really nice people. We appreciate your attention to our child. We do and will recommend your club to all our friends. Thank you for your time and effort. We looking forward to assign Angelina for next year within your club.
Caring, professional, and top notch gymnastics club. As soon as you walk in you will feel like family. Huge facility that really values cleanliness and organization. Classes for every age and skill and extremely knowledgeable coaches. Can't say enough!
