I have had 5 different trainers over the years. All good for different reasons. But for the first time, I started to learn and gain knowledge about my own body and how to properly strengthen it from Daniel Harland. The difference between him and other trainers is that he is a teacher. He doesn’t tell me to complete a set of exercises, he explains/demonstrates reason and goes into depth about every little detail so that I can comprehend his teachings. Daniel’s knowledge is vast. I am learning things I have never heard before. He has completely changed the way I look at the body and fitness. I come to this gym specifically to be trained/taught by him. He has told me on countless occasions that he is instilling this knowledge in me so that I can use it as tool, independently, down the road. He’s a great asset to Wynn Fitness. Passionate about his craft and a teacher, what more can you ask for?

Nice place to work out in. Friendly atmosphere and everything. My personal trainer at this place is Nikita and he is the best one available at the gym. He's very knowledgeable and experienced as well as being friendly. He teaches you how to do different exercised and moves in the best
form and pushes you to do the best you can.

The Richmond Hill Wynn gym is excellent -- I especially like the gym as well the functional room upstairs is great for anyone who is willing to train outside bodybuilding oriented exercises. Ill also add that Dan is amazing by far the best PT i have had, ( as was Kia -- they both are similar in that they rock). They are both very knowledgeable and great motivators. The training sessions are fun and extremely effective, would recommend

An absolute dumpster fire.
I've gone to this gym for over 5 years, and somehow, the service it provides has only gotten worse.
There used to be a massive turfed area upstairs with multiple bench presses and a rack of weights, it was nice and spacious. Now? It is walled off, empty 90% of the time, and only accessible if you pay more, tight.
Also, this gym randomly decides to close early some days, without giving any notice. Cause everyone is too lazy to print out a notification, tape it to a few walls around the place so that people can have the heads up. Super considerate, love it.
It took them over 5 years to buy some new barbells, which Ill say, was an improvement. But, only due to the fact that most of the existing barbells were rusted to the point of being a shade of brown that I'm sure was not intentional.
This place couldn't care less about its members, and it's clear that at this point its only hope for improvement would be for an outside buyer to come in and completely replace management.
If only I was so lucky.

As a doctoral student, I am a life-long learner. This means that I don't like to just be told but to do but rather the reasons why I should do it. With previous physiotherapy assistants at the Richmond Hill Wynn Fitness location, I have not been able to find someone who is as thorough and as patient as Dan Harland is. I have learned more knowledge about the body's anatomy and functional patterns in the last month than I have in my 9 years of academic career. You know the old saying, "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." As a life-long learner and an athlete, he does his research and teaches his patients up-to-date information about how they can improve their bodies in order to improve their day-to-day lives.
