I joined 905 athletics 3 months ago. I am so happy I found this place. At 46 years old, and after having been going to various gyms for 10+ years, I have now been able to do my first handstand, climb my first rope, and almost connect double-unders. My endurance and strength has improved so much I surprise myself. The community is welcoming and encouraging. Anthony owner/coach is unbelievably patient, knowledgeable and attentive teaching proper form/technique. I’m so grateful I found this place. I only wish I joined sooner. My focus has changed from losing weight to being strong and learning new skills. It’s so rewarding.
Anthony, owner and coach, takes a good care of this place and makes sure there is a sense of community. I enjoy my classes there.
This is the best gym I've been to. The main coach and owner, Anthony, is very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to help you. He is very attentive, and his clients' success speaks for itself: Anthony knows how to build STRONG people!
Anthony and Ana are amazing coaches and the RHCF members have formed one of the strongest and closest knit communities I have ever had the pleasure of being part of. I encourage you to come check this place out regardless of your fitness level and/or experience with CrossFit
If you are in the Richmond Hill area, you need to go to this place now! The quality of the instructors, especially Anthony, makes this place hard to beat and sets it apart from the rest. I was a total newcomer to crossfit and all the instructors spent a lot of time working on my form and substituting moves where applicable. The whole process has allowed me tk understand so much more about fitness and moving the right way! With such flexible payment and membership options, you can find something that works for you. If you want to move better and are tired of classic gyms, this is the place to go.
Can't say enough good things about RHCF! Great coaches, great workouts, and great community. Richmond Hill CrossFit helped me take my health and fitness to the next level by proving exceptional programming, amazing guidance, and endless support and motivation. Took me only about 1 week to get addicted to this place. Highly recommended!
RHCF has hands down provided the best gym experience I've ever had. From the amazing coaching down to the great community built on people dedicated to bettering themselves and helping each other out, joining is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've been to big gyms and small gyms but I have learned more and progressed more in my time here than I have anywhere else. I strongly suggest that anyone and everyone interested in making real progress and great friends come check it out. It's 100% worth it.
Been going to Richmond Hill CrossFit for almost a year and a half now. Anthony's coaching is awesome and he is always there to help you improve. The members are awesome too! Very supportive of each other. It's always a good time!
I came here with a friend of mine who had a series of injuries and hadn't worked out in over two years and was desperate to find a physical activity that he enjoyed and would be motivated to attend on a regular basis. I, myself, am not in the best shape either and have very little upper body strength needless to say we were feeling self-conscious and nervous upon entering! Anthony was INCREDIBLE, and immediately set our minds at ease by being friendly and open, and greeting us upon entry to the box. He told us to relax and not to be nervous, that "everyone starts somewhere". As soon as I walked in I could see that this was an environment that would work for my friend and I, as people were very welcoming and encouraging. The environment was not like a gym, where you feel self-conscious and as though you are being judged. At Anthony's box we felt supported, motivated, and comfortable enough to give it our all without worrying what other people were thinking. Due to my friend's injuries, Anthony took the time to create a customized plan for us that was different than the WOD he had planned for that day. He accommodated our individual needs and took special time out to constantly coach us both on maintaining proper form throughout the hour workout. By the end of the hour, I felt sweaty and AMAZING, and so did my friend. We felt as though we had a fantastic workout, and we honestly had so much fun while doing it. This is DEFINITELY something that the both of us felt as though we would like to continue in the future - my muscles were pleasantly sore the next day and I can definitely see how Anthony's coaching style, and box environment are conducive to positive results, not only in body but in mind as well. First of all this is the best crossfit gym I've ever been. The atmosphere is energized and cozy sametime. Coach Anthony knows what to do and his instructions are clear and solid. Secondly, how this place - the coach and the members accept new-comers is unique. From the very first moment you step in to the gym you feel "this is my home gym where I should be". While I was living in GTA going to the Richmond Hill Crossfit was surely favorite thing to do.
