Over the years, by virtue of high-quality taste of the traditional Rice Roll, well-known in the province of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The Rice Roll are "thin, delicious, smooth, unique taste" and won the "white as jade, thin as paper, smooth and delicious" evaluation. "Yin Ji Chang Fen" was already really popular in Guangzhou Old Xiguan area in the early 50s and 60s."

some places you can travel to without taking a flight, this is one of those places to get authentic taste. They specialize in rice rolls and all kinds it appears as that's what's mostly on menu. This place is my go-to for rice noodle rolls! You can visit any location from this franchise and expect the same quality and consistency. Came to dine in for a late lunch and it was very quiet which worked in our favour. We ordered two variations of the rice rolls shrimp and truffle mushroom, congee with some dough fritters and deep fried fish skins. Their rice rolls were silky and the filling was nicely marinated. I enjoyed their less traditional flavours such as the truffle variation as well. This is definitely my kind of comfort food! I was however surprised to see them serving the food on the takeout containers though. I thought they'd have it on their normal plates and bowls. Overall service was quick, and friendly. But an area for improvement could be cleanliness, I found the chairs were a little oily from the previous customers.
Affordable rice rolls and other dim sum items with decent variety It gets very busy on weekends, don't expect much from service. It feels very much like a fast food place. Quality is ok for the items we got: congee, rice rolls, and fried mantou, but not outstanding. Unfortunately everything is served on disposable plates and bowls. They also do takeout, which my boyfriend loves.
Great place. Very good congee, rice rolls and friendly service. The rice wrap and dough sticks are good. Soy milk and lemon tea are very nice. Fast service big portions for the price!
3rd visit Dec 30 2022: Friendly and accommodating staff every visit! For my 3rd time here, the food is hot, fresh, and delicious! I love this place! You MUST try their Hongkong style frozen milk tea! It's refreshing and perfect! First visit in April 2022: Amazing cheung fun rice noodle rolls, crispy shrimp rolls and dough stick! Everything was hot and fresh! The consistency of the rice noodle was absolute perfection! The Hong Kong style milk tea was delicious! This place did not disappoint! The staff were so sweet and friendly! Definitely coming back!
Love their sticky rice dish and congee. I tried their fish skin for the first time, it was fantastic! Hong Kong milk tea was sooo good too. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere overall, Also very impressive customer service Will definitely go back!!

Amazing churng fun! So many options and every single one I’ve tried so far is super tasty. This has become a regular spot for me as it’s my go to congee/chang fun spot!
*** Update January 2022 *** I am back for more food. The consistency is there again. I will upgrade to 5 STARS on my next visit. ***Update September 2021*** It is election day. I already voted at the advance polls last weekend. So weird to be voting inside a shopping mall. But schools are a "NO Go Zone" because of the pandemic. Anyways, I am back for some more comfort HK Congee and snacks today. Ordering is easy peasy via Go Snappy. You get a text msg confirmation that your order is ready for pickup. Like I said....easy peasy. Pick up is quick and efficient. And the food is still top notch. Although the cilantro was not as good as my first time. Nonetheless, the congee was delish. The sticky rice is home made for sure because I found a regular white mushroom Not a Shitake ...I guess they ran out ...I dunno inside. It still tasted delicious really. I am a happy camper all the way. ________________________________________________________________________ Wow, wow, wow, that was my first impression. It has been a while since I have had this sort of reaction on my first try. Like the old saying goes...."First Impressions are the Lasting Impressions". I must preface by saying that I am not a huge fan of rice rolls. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it. I will eat it for sure. If I am at Dim Sum for example, I might not order it. But if someone happens to order it, then I will eat it without any hesitation. So I was reluctant to try it, and I was really in the mood for congee and a fried fritter. This location has them all along with your classic HK milk tea. Sign me up I said..... I ordered: 1 R4: Shrimp & Chives Rice Roll 2 C9: Pork and Preserved Gold Egg Congee 3 S6: Dough Stick 4 S1: Sticky Rice Wrap The R4 Shrimp & Chives Roll was delicious. I am seriously impressed. The dough had a nice texture and bounce to it when you bite into it. The crunch of the veggies inside was a fabulous play on texture which enhanced the whole experience. Very well done indeed. The S6 Dough Stick was still crunchy when I brought it home. I was quite surprised. So another hit here. Man oh man, this congee is probably the best congee I have had since like forever...yeah, it has been that long since I have been wowed by any sort of congee from any restaurant either in Canada or in Asia for that matter. It was that good IMHO. My favourite congee before this was served on Cathay Pacific Business Class 10-15+ years ago . It was AMAZING.....but sadly...it is longer the case with them....it sucks now. No worries, I have found my new congee fix now going forward. The pork was beautifully marinated and tender as heck, I simply loved the addition of fresh ginger and cilantro. It just cranked up the taste with their herbaceous freshness. It was fantastic. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner !!! The S1 Sticky Rice Wrap is definitely home made because it lacked that consistent firmness that is so constant with machine made versions. It was good and hardy and perfectly steamed. The HK milk tea was okay, not the best. I would have preferred a higher ratio of the condensed milk over the steeped tea because it is bloody strong. The caffeine hit is CRAZY, I will be buzzed for hours after drinking it. Ordering online was child's play. It was quick and easy. The pick up service was efficient and quick as well. Upon arrival, if you pay cash there is 10% discount which is a nice surprise. This is almost 5 STARS A Home Run from the get go, but I have to return to check on the consistency. The consistency is always key for me. This a Line Drive triple clearing the bases right past the diving third baseman and into the alley. Treat yourself to their food and please let us all know what your thoughts are. A++ experience all the way here.
I ordered for delivery and they have amazed me!! I tried two flavors of rice rolls, two flavors of congee, and one curry fish ball side dish and they're all delicious! The rice rolls are thin, soft, and very well done both in terms of texture and flavors while the congee is cooked perfectly with the right amount of rice, water, herbs, and protein. The picture is taken the day after bc we jumped into eating on the day I ordered it so things should look better than that. Reasonable pricing so a solid 5/5 for a person who is very critical about Chinese food like me.
