Chi's Congee & Noodle House

I had gone here to get some congee for dinner. Place seems to be crowded. Cash is the only form of payment I had ordered from the menu and later realized that I had over paid my order by 10 dollars. I was trying to make my point but to no response from the staff as I had already paid. When I took my order home I got the wrong congee…. Food was good but overall a bad experience. Would not go back here

Home-cooked Chinese food goodness at this place which is well loved by locals and always has a crowd. Every dish on the menu tastes good and served in generous portions. It all comes down to what you feel like having. Congee is always a winner, especially in winter.

Been coming for years of dining in and take out during the pandemic. Food is always the freshest and most delicious when dining in. All of their dishes are masterfully prepared. Honestly, the best Hong Kong style congee and fried noodles, fried rice restaurant in town. You literally can't go wrong with ordering anything. Specialities include beef ho fun, rich man fried rice, seafood congee, fried carrot cake... List goes on... Service is always fast and friendly especially the boss lady who always makes you feel like a king or queen when you come to eat in her restaurant. The decor is what it is, it's a Hong Kong style Family Diner but always clean and well lit. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options

Food is sooooo good here!! Its fresh, quick, huge portions for a cheap price. Just keep in mind you can only pay with cash. I usually order the spicy fried turnip patties, rice noodles with shrimp and scrambled egg sauce and seafood chow mein. Its great that they have added a few tables in front of the restaurant. If you crave delicious and authentic chinese food, come check this place out. Please help support small businesses!

Always a favourite! My family has been coming here for years. Try the turnip cakes, basil chicken, Singapore noodles, deep fried shrimp wontons, salt and pepper squid, or any of their congee. Cash only.

Very busy and great food at good prices. I was visiting from out of town and would go back again next time I am here.

This is a very small and cozy restaurant, with limited seating. There's usually a wait but not enough space for a warm waiting area during the cold times. Interior is pretty intimate and atmosphere is nice. Another thing I really dislike is having to share a table with a couple. The couple was also rushed to eat even though they were seated not too long before my group of eight... but was fortunately transferred to another table when one table was free. On the other hand, the food comes out quite fast and tastes pretty good. Pricing is good as well and service was just okay. This place is good for sharing a variety of dishes. I recommend this place for their food.

For an all cash pay restaurant, the price isn't so bad. The pork and preserve egg congee is very tasty, and you can also change up the flavors of the congee with the condiments that are not the basic kinds you see at most restaurants. The atmosphere is very relaxing to sit down and enjoy a good meal.Food: 5/5

This location has been here for over 20 years. I still remember its predecessor which was a classic Taiwanese dessert hang out place where you can read comics, books and play board games from their selection on the rack. And they served amazing crushed ice desserts. Okay back to the present. Chi's has never disappointed me, my friends or family. The food has always been exceptional. From their selection of congee, fried noodles, dinner a la carte etc. It is good to see that the wait staff is still the same as well. I find the food to be better than say a Congee Queen. So I tend to come here when I have a craving for classic HK/Cantonese congee , fried noodles and rice etc. A+ experience for me all the way.

This place has not changed in years. Same foods, same staffs and same decor. Don't expect too much, but you do get acceptable food quality. I do see a lot more take away than dine-in.
