Red Lotus

I was recommended by my friend so had a try today in this restaurant. It was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. The service was sweet and good, and the food quality is high. Delicious Sichun cuisine made a happy day : Some people may find the food a little salty - you can let the chef know in advance and they can adjust. Also the price is reasonable.

Great spicy food for a cold winter eve! The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They have been keeping up with the qualities over the years. I would definitely return to Red Lotus whenever I crave for hot and spicy dishes in MississaugaFood: 5/5

I love the food here. But it takes a long time to get the food ready. We were waiting for like 20 mins. And the AC is kind of cold. But overall, it is good.

-ELITE level Szechuan- I'm confused as to why this place isn't considered one of the best restaurants in greater Toronto. I know that sounds crazy- I live in NYC and Im pretty picky, but love authentic Szechuan food.. We ordered the spicy fish, which was great- Peking Pork was legitimately legendary... comes with bean curd wraps. Incredible. Cumin mushrooms awesome and some beef dish that was fantastic. Been dreaming about this place for the 5 days since I went. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Order salt pepper chicken $13: tiny portion Sweet and sour pork $19: all battering, no meat. Can you see any pork in that??

The worst restaurant ever! I tried this restaurant food years ago, it taste really bad and really expensive. So I quit of eating from this restaurant. But I didn’t left comments. Then my friend told me that she ordered some drink and food dishes from this restaurant today. It bought me to my previous memories of this restaurant. Not only they didn’t sell her the drink but also they were tried to teach her stuffs. Come on! If you are not everyone’s mother, then you have no right to “educate “ your customers. Everyone, don’t risk your money and waste your time to try it. Not only you will get into an unnecessary bad emotion, but also you will spend money and time on food that not taste good. Try somewhere else, new restaurants opens all the time, I tried and all so much better than this.

Great place, very good tasting comparing to elsewhere. Service was ok too. This place has been around for years and I've always liked it and always brought my friends there. Ordered a noodle, waited for over 30 mins and still didn't get it. Asked the server after 30 mins whether they even started making it. They haven't even started on it so I cancelled my order. I can't belive that after 30 mins they still haven't even started on a bowl of noodle. All the other tables were getting their food. Left the restaurant hungry.

After being very disappointed in the quality of food order through skip the dishes app time and time again I feel as if I've finally hit the jackpot with Red Lotus Restaurant! I ordered bbq shrimp which was deliciously seasoned and cripsy just how I like it! Their hot and sour soup is literally one of the best soups I've ever tasted! The cumin lamb was nicely spiced and cooked perfectly, the fresh orange jasmine tea is to die for! Shanghai noodles were great as well. As for the one in watermelon slush I would've preferred it to be fresh slush without the cream or yogurt on top which I didn't ask for but all and all an amazing and delicious experience, food could be more affordable though. I'll definitely be back again sometime
