Excellent Cantonese Hong Kong style dining experience. Restaurant was very busy but we were lucky to get a table. They have an extensive menu with literally too many choices and lots of drinks and desserts as well. Their signature was light and crispy with rich sweet & sour sauce. Black pepper pork chop was also an excellent dish perfectly seasoned and not oily or greasy. All of the vegetables that we ordered were also extremely fresh and seasonal with lots of different choices for your favorite method of preparation. Also incredibly impressive were the number of drinks and desserts they had on their menu. I was skeptical a restaurant could have such an extensive menu and still do everything well but they definitely accomplished that. Service was fast and friendly. They were extremely attentive and cleared all of our empty plates and refilled tea all night without needing to flag them down other than to ask for the bill! For sure we will be back soon to sample the numerous other dishes on their menu. An excellent value for the money with generous dish sizes. Highly recommended! Parking: Plenty of parking but it gets busy at meal times and those parking spots go quickly...
+1 star for pandemic Service: as expected from typical mom&pop Chinese store slightly rude/sloppy, but authentic Food: quality is above its price point When the sweet & sour pork is tender inside, it's pretty good. But when it's also crispy on the outside, you hit a gem. This place is a gem. The quality was great even on a full house Father days night. I had lunch there a few times, its lunch menu is nice. Very good beef brisket, on curry and wonton noodle. Their dishes are well done. Their fried noodle, whether it's Canton chow mein or other kinds, I remember praising it everytime, on how the crispy-to-sauce ratio has always been on spot. These small details illustrate the extra miles the kitchen and owners have been going. Cons: took 5 requests to get our water on busy father's day. Main waitress complained "to herself" outloud in front of us about how messy we made the floor damn kids... It's an authentication experience though from the culture
Friendly staff, good food, quick service. Ordered from the menu where you can choose any 3 dishes and it comes with soup. The soup was a nice corn and lotus root clear broth. For the dishes we got garlic sir fried Bok Choy, black pepper beef, and salty fish, chicken with tofu. Everything was quite tasty and the restaurant is big enough with spaced out tables to feel safe from other diners.
I dined in for the first time here recently, and had a good experience. I thought I would try out their take out. Especially in this post pandemic era of inflation of prices and shrinkflation of portion sizes, I’ve had to change out a lot of my go-to places. Sweet corn and fish maw soup - I ordered a large, which came as 2 small containers. Great, subtle flavour, and lots of fish maw. Legendary honey olive pork spareribs - ok, it lives up to the name. Lightly crispy and not overwhelmingly olive-y in flavour, it strikes the right balance of sweet, salty, and savoury. King oyster mushroom and snow pea leaves - very good flavour and texture. Portion size also quite reasonable. Beef tenderloin in HP sauce - it’s the same sauce as Peking pork chops, but just with beef. The meat was nicely tender and the dish isn’t filled with onions. Very good. Dry fried beef rice noodle - just like how I know this dish it’s a staple. It was good that they didn’t overload this dish with onions. Good portion size. Could use a little more “wok hei.” BBQ pork fried rice - very good portion size. Flavour is a little more subtle than I like. It also could use a little more ”wok hei.” Overall, I would come back for both dine in and take out. Their menu is comprehensive, so there’s a lot to try.
I came here with my Cantonese / Hong Kong friend and she said that this is food that she would eat in Hong Kong when she wa younger and that it is apart of Hong Kong cuisine although it is good made mostly in China. This food was so delicious and tastydespite the and being composed of pork, they don’t taste like pork at all because of the rich seasonings and freshness. The was also very flavourful and I could taste a depth in the taste of the tea! was not too oily but still crispy and tasty! I would come here again. The atmosphere was comforting and the customer service was… okay. It was honestly just a bit too pricy cuz they charged you for extra just to get a drink cold rather than hot…?
Our new favourite Chinese restaurant! The service was amazing, food came out fast and piping hot. We sat down 8pm and left at 9pm with a full stomach lol servings huge!
All the food in this restaurant is delicious, my favourite place for dinner or take out. Price is reasonable, service is good. They are busy all the time so remember to call ahead to book a table if you want to dine in. Even their dessert is so good.
The portion is quite big for two of us. I planned to order 3 dishes but the lady recommended just 2 first if I dont want any leftover. This restaurant is suitable for family reunion
It's been a while since I've been to a dine-in restaurant with my family. My parents are regulars here so I know for sure the food is good. We went for lunch on a Tuesday, the last day before the new restrictions kicked in no more indoor dining for the next three weeks. There were only 2 tables occupied with patrons, so we were seated quite a ways away from them. The lunch specials that we ordered came with hot drinks and between the 4 adults and 2 young kids, we ordered... Curry beef brisket with white rice - this is definitely my favourite. The spices are just right, not too spicy or overpowering, lots of thick meaty chunks of brisket with a few pieces of potato. There's plenty of sauce to lather all over the white rice. Deep fried fish fillet and bitter melon over chow mein - this dish has a nice sauce served over super crunchy chow mein noodles. My 4yo son loves the boneless fish fillet and the noodles were a hit with everyone. The bitter melon isn't for everyone, but my mom and dad enjoyed it. Beef with Chinese broccoli over flat rice noodle - lots of beef slices in this dish and again, the gravy was the star of the dish. It goes perfectly with the rice noodle. Fried rice with olives - I don't like olives, neither does my husband or daughter, yet they both seem to really enjoy this dish. I didn't try it myself so I cannot comment on it. This is also my parents' favourite dish, so if you like olives, go for it! And of course, we still packed away an entire takeout container of food. The waiter/owner is friendly and kind maybe because my parents are regulars and especially during these trying times, do support local businesses such as this one! This Yelp page for this restaurant/location has been up for a few years, but I'm pretty sure Trithis has only been in business for about 2 year.
Went to Trithis Restaurant that serves Chinese dishes. There are so many choices but we ordered their lunch special. I ordered sweet and sour pork on rice which is one of my favourites.  The pork was crispy and tender and so delicious with the sauce. My sister ordered bitter melon with chicken on rice and my brother in law ordered the beef brisket noodle in soup which was a sizeable portion. The price was very reasonable and affordable. The food tasted good. We will surely go back to this place to try other items in the menu, there is so much variety to choose from.
