Yellowstone River Campground

About

We are a family owned and operated campground and RV park located along the Yellowstone River just minutes from downtown Billings.

Story

Looking to explore the Billings area and need a place to call home? Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground is the perfect base camp. Downtown Billings and the medical corridor are under 5 minutes from the campground, and the airport is just a bit farther. Easy on & off access to I-90 makes us a simple overnight stop while on the road, but our amenities may make you want to stick around a little longer!

Take a break from your travels and kick back at our heated outdoor pool and spa, or enjoy a leisurely stroll down our nature path to the Yellowstone River. World-class activities, including fishing, hiking, kakayking, sightseeing, and more are all within an hour's drive or less.

Beautiful park with lots of green spaces and cool old farm equipment scattered around the grounds. Pool was pretty clean but cold and spa needed some tile cleaning! But it was not crowded and I was the only one there! Saw 3 deer right in the park and walked around the beautiful grounds with my 2 dogs. The staff were very friendly and the park was immaculate. Cute, helpful signage throughout. BEST DOG PARK EVER! Big with lots of tall shade trees and a bench and poop bags provided. LONG walk thru brush to the actual Yellowstone River, and then the 'beach' was all rocks, but my dogs didn't mind and loved swimming there. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is: Sites were close together and side-by-side, meaning two RVs share one gravel driveway. Luckily no one was next to us in our site or we might not have been able to open our awning! I'll never understand why a park will cram the RVs together when they have so much extra land?

I liked that they were closed for the season but were still open for parking with electrical hookups for a lower price. Stayed one night in Nov. '17. Nice park.

Really nice campground with friendly staff and friendly campers. Well maintained! My only small complaint is how close together the spots are. I am sure you won't regret your stay. It has a couple of fenced in dog parks, playground, swimming pool and hot tub, nice walking trail that will take you to a hidden treasure. And if you are not up for the small hike, just walkijg around the campground gives you the chance to meet some really nice people. Has a mini store for some basic needs and souvenirs. . Laundry room with I believe 4 washers and 4 dryers. You won't be disappointed.

Seems like a really nice park pulled in late in off season at night wish they would tell you the prices when you call on the answer machine I think 61 dollars for full hook up is pretty high for off season and nothing being open in the park wouldn't have stayed but have a 2 little ones who were ready to get out of the the truck

Nice clean park. Sites a little too close together, thankfully we stayed during off season so no next door neigbor! Wonderful fenced dog area! Friendly gal at counter! Thought it was a bit pricey.
