We stayed for 4 days in the Glacier Canyon and I was very impressed with our stay overall. The room was very nice and clean. The layout made it very easy to get comfortable. The waterparks are all really great! And the shuttle system is super easy to use once you figure it out. Truly my only complaint is the long extremely narrow hallways… OH and the staff were so so so friendly, I’ve been going to the dells for many years and the Wilderness had the best staff I’ve ever encountered.
5/5! Booking was a breeze. Spur-of-the-moment trip, and they were so easy to deal with. The front desk staff were awesome, the rooms were spotless. We only planned on one night, but ended up staying two because it was so easy to extend our stay. The only bummer was the indoor water park was closed that week – our bad for not checking – but everything else was perfect. We'll definitely be back and will tell our friends all about it.
We had an absolutely fantastic 2-night stay at this water park resort and hotel with our group of 8 kids! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay.nnThe water park was the highlight, with a wide variety of attractions that kept all the kids entertained for hours. Whether it was the thrilling slides, the wave pool, or the lazy river, there was something for every age and energy level. The lifeguards were attentive and professional, which gave us peace of mind as parents.nnThe hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a large family. The spacious rooms allowed us to relax and recharge after a long day of fun.nnThe combination of an exciting water park and a well-run hotel made this a perfect getaway for a big family. Highly recommended!
This was for Glacier Canyon.nnReserved a room about 10 months ago, got a call today. I am supposed to go this weekend with a small group as a Christmas get together. Get this phone call that the room i reserved is over sold. Now we have to either re schedule or take 2 rooms at a different hotel off the resort and drive back and forth to the Waterpark. Not sure why I have to change my plans because the hotel didn't manage the number of rooms they have appropriately, the water park and arcade are nice. Over priced but nice. The rooms are nice also but the service couldn't be further from good.nnWith more information the Wilderness isn't really at fault as it was booked through booking.com apparently they do this often with resorts in the dells. They over sell rooms in the hopes someone will re schedule.nnWe did enjoy our stay after the initial frustrations.
We only visited the water park on a day pass. The place is huge and spread out. We liked how one of the indoor parks had the slides on a common tower but the signage could be better.nnThe wave pool is very big, much better than Kalahari's. The swim up bar could use warmer water but it's nice and large.nnThe food was decent as far as amusement parks go and there's a funnel cake place.nnI did not encounter a bag check.
