The Alakai hotel is a family owned and operated Hotel. The theme of the hotel is a tropical get away for your weekday or weekend trip. First time in Wisconsin Dell's. Stayed for two nights, 2 adults and 3 kids. We got the room with two queen beds and one sofa bed. Very clean hotel. They offer an indoor pool, jacuzzi and dry sauna. They also have an indoor play area area for the little ones with two slides. They also have an outside pool with a couple slides. We got wristbands for everyone everyday for Noahs ark which i thought was a good deal. The staff is nice and since there isn't too many people staying here we had the pool area to ourselves some of the time!

I stayed here out of summer season during the middle of September, so the whole place was basically empty except for a small amount of people. Receptionist was nice, helped me out with rooms and questions, rooms were clean, couple of towels had small stains, so I used them as floor towels to step onto. Beds were comfortable enough. I will say it feels dated compared to something more expensive. But that's why the prices are lower than across the street. Small tv, very old microwave and mini fridge, the jacuzzi in the pool area was better than the one in my room. Otherwise, i was happy with my stay. Peace and quiet, and nothing major to complain about. Atleast it was clean.

Not great. Clean. So thankful for that. The kiddie pool was nice for the little one. Cons: absolutely no extra pillows or towels. Your shower towels are your pool towels. Poor customer service.

No frills,clean nice rooms.Bring your own towels for pool use.Have a laundry room for drying and washing.No type of food service.Rates are cheap out of season.Had fireplace and jacuzzi hot tub.Was nice for romantic getaway.

I am giving this place a 1 star review because tiles on the bathroom floor were missing, the tub had a nice big crack in it, the pool had way to much chlorine you could bairly breath and it burned your skin. The sheets had holes and rips in it, the towels had stains on them and so did the pillow cases. The manager was horrible. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Just go across the street to holiday inn. Spend the extra money.
