White Spot, Kerrisdale

The best option in Kerrisdale for western food. The service is usually quite slow, but the food makes up for it. I come here about once every 1-2 months, and on my latest visit, I got chicken strips and a BBQ chicken flatbread. Their burgers, fries and milkshakes are some of the best on the menu, but they also have lots of other options from other cuisines.

We were visiting Vancouver and stopped by for breakfast. Amazing local spot for breakfast! There are lots of options for all kinds of diets. Very high-quality food. Service was great! Their manager Mei was a delight and very attentive. Highly recommended !!!

We went to this place on Saturday morning for brunch, and it was quite packed.nKerrisdale doesn't have tons of options for brunch, but this was one of them.nFor some reason, as we walked in, servers were gathered at the host stand, and it took a while to get us seats even though many tables were available.nFood orders came quickly, and they were delicious.nHowever, it was impossible to get our server's attention and took a while to get our water and drinks refilled and the bill.nMaybe they would be better on the weekdays as fewer people come.

We had our baseball team dinner here this evening and everything was amazing. Jeff was so kind as to arrange this for us. The kids had a blast.nBoth the food and service was great.

Thought I’d revisit again after my last horrific experience from the manager. Their menus state you can order off the bar after 9 am. I had a ceaser at 10:15 in March and then suddenly after I finished they told me I can’t order anything liquor related until 11 am because of their liquor license. They already served me however, and wouldn’t comp my drink. Exhibited a poor attitude with me the entire time as if it was my fault they had made a mistake. The food was still tasty, but my experience was very disappointing. I figured I’d let it go.nnToday I went in again after a few months to find the menus still haven’t been updated and that they’re still false advertising liquor from 9 am. The food again was tasty, but upon sitting down I waited at the bar for 15 mins before needing to ask for service, even just for a glass of water. The same manager, Cindy, was there again and I was very polite the whole time. She seemed to have an apprehensive attitude and remembered me from my last visit I guess. She decided to loudly sort cutlery at the bar directly in front of me while eating and trying to watch the game. There was nowhere else she could’ve done that?nnBetween slow service, false advertising, and snotty unprofessional attitudes, I won’t be back. This franchise is going downhill fast.
