White Spot

This one at Oakridge Mall is the most popular White Spot I have ever been. Good service and food there seems more inviting and tasty than other ones. Went there several times with friends at different times, it was full of people.The food is health oriented.

Was planning on going here for a later dinner after an evening at the Festival of Lights with a party of eight. We arrived and were told it would be 10-15 minutes, no problem at all! We said that we would even accept two tables of four which turned out to make it quicker. The problem was that when we walked into the restaurant (officially since you wait in the mall) there was stuff all over the floor, napkins, food, crayons, stains, etc. We got up and left immediately. If your “first impression” looks like that, what does the kitchen look like?! Very surprising considering the basis of the name is based on a clean restaurant...now sitting at White Spot on Kingsway and 41st which is extremely clean and fabulous service thus far!

The young staff could use some coordination in teamwork. Two or three occasions of dishes being dropped during one visit followed by laughter a little to easy. Easy to laugh when you’re not paying for the dishes. Food costs continue to rise.

Food is the same as other locations but the staff here seriously need better training. Totally innattentive, wandering around aimlessly doing nothing. The person sitting next time waiting for his bill for 20 min and when I asked the hostess if we could get our bill she told me who my server was and then walked by me 4 more times doing nothing. Also the restaurant was only half full but none of the empty tables were clean the entire time I ate.

This is a good location. The staff is friendly and efficient . It’s like all white spots. We like coming here because they have a larger dining room and it’s located inside of Oakridge mall.
