The lady who worked the front desk (Lisa) was the sweetest lady and was beyond accommodating. She made our stay feel warm & welcomed with a awesome personality. The room was beautiful, a Victorian feel. A great place to celebrate an anniversary! Will definitely be coming back sometime. Really awesome that there are Jacuzzis in the room/bathroom. All the staff was friendly as well. There wasn't any fridges in the room, but if you call ahead, they may be able to get you one if it isn't taken. would be a nice touch tho.

Overall we had a great stay for sister weekend. Enjoyed our stay. Friendly helpful staff. Our room was clean & spacious. We paid $318 for standard 2 people staying one night, check in Sunday, check out Monday, quite a few things could be updated & improved. No bedding in the room for the murphy bed, night desk lady brought some up right away. It was about 25 years old, very well used comforter I might find at the old cabin. The towels were like sandpaper, cheap, thin & very scratchy. No space/counter for your things in the bathroom. Very poor lighting. No refrigerator in room. Small touches make a big difference.

Beautiful location right next to the river. Right next to draw bridge. Parking kind of sucks. Very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Easy to find. Will definitely recommend to a friend.

Nice romantic hotel. Hot tubs in the sitting room, which was odd... But hot tub in the room! In the heart of downtown Stillwater.

Checked into the hotel that my husband booked as a surprise getaway for my 40th Birthday. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are in desperate need of updating. The bed was like sleeping on plywood that squeaked horribly anytime you moved. I know when my husband tells me he didn't sleep well because of the bed, it's bad. It was very uncomfortable. The tv is small and from the 1990s. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and in the corner. For what we paid for the room, definitely not worth the value. Hotel is in desperate need of updating.
