If you're looking for a FANTASTIC getaway close to home, this can't be beat! My (now) husband and I planned a getaway for our 3-year dating anniversary and we stayed at the Inn in one of their beautiful suites. We actually got engaged just down the road at the Cascade Falls right before our reservation began!! From the privacy, to the amenities and the comfort of our suite, we loved all the little touches! We cannot say enough positive things about the whole place.... and the FOOD! Oh my word, the multi-course, chef-prepared dinner was an absolute TREAT! The location is stunning, the views are spectacular, and you'll feel incredibly taken care of, without anyone hovering. We even shared some champagne on our private balcony overlooking the river at sunset... spectacular! There is so much to do in the area too, including the Cascade Falls, wineries (we LOVE Dancing Dragonfly), Interstate State Park, and more. We also LOVED the wine that was available on the "honor" system and charged to our room -- we ran out after talking late into the night about our future and our wedding plans... it was so fabulous to be able to grab another bottle and enjoy, and it would just get added to our bill. Exactly how I love to vacation -- in comfort, with the little touches, in privacy, and with GREAT food and views!! A+!

We had a terrific "girl's weekend" for the six of us @ the SCRI. Gabby, the manager, was very accommodating with our pre visit questions and dietary requests for our breakfasts. It's a cozy nice getaway inn overlooking the tranquil St. Croix River. The rooms were nice, we had a leak from our tub through the ceiling below that was going to be handled after we left. It's definitely a well used and loved inn, with a bit of wear. Suggestions: visit the wineries near by like Dancing Dragon Fly, do a spa treatment at Beauty Escape (a block in half from the inn) and a river cruise on the Taylor Falls Scenic Boat tours (beautiful!) Great stay and area for a getaway weekend!

Amazing... Back in 2013 when my wife and I got married we were given a gift certificate for this amazing place. Unfortunately we were not able to use it until this past weekend! But it was WELL worth it!!! we had the most beautiful experience ever! From the dinner @ the water shed to our night alone in our room. I'd personally like to thank the owner and the staff for making this memory one of the best! We will return. Dion & Emily... :)

Nice bed and breakfast on the edge of the river with a great view. Off the main road (quiet but not so far to make it hard to find). The breakfast served in room always impresses. Rooms are very nice with many having a patio to sit out on with breakfast or coffee in the morning

First time at a B&B. This place was wonderful! Comfortable and spacious rooms with beautiful views of the river. Breakfast served in the room. Able to accommodate dietary restrictions.
