I tried the take out for dinner and afternoon tea. the price was good. i like the afternoon tea menu and the food. For the dinner, i found the dishes too much sauce, the veggies was a bit overcooked that they were too soft and not fresh. Overall it was ok

Good prices and good food. The portion is good. Highly recommended! Love their chill oil, it is the best chill oil found in town. We used to visit their old location in Richmond Hill until they moved to this new location. Will definitely visit more.

Authentic Hong Kong style food. Nice clean cozy restaurant. Suitable for families with young children.

Located in a plaza that you would never drive into. However, amazing food. Price is very reasonable and large portion. It is better than a lot of famous Hong Kong Style cafes in Markham. If you live more on the east side or north side of Markham. This is the Hong kong Cafe to go for! You will not regret it. Enjoy!

I found a gem in Markham. Love the food and good value. I picked up a nice lunch with eggplant, green beans and turnip order. Tasty and good mix of sauces. Easy ordering and crew are wonderful. Like the others said, I will be coming back regularly to Viet Kong Restaurant.

It's not my first time visiting this restaurant for afternoon tea. Both times, the food tasted bland. For my most recent visit, I ordered a spaghetti bolognese, which appears to be made with minced pork fat. The sauce looks similar to a water roux, no traces of tomato flavouring or beef or cheese. That being said, I love the XO sauce they sell at the counter. It's very tasty and reasonably priced. A few spoonfuls serve as a quick fix for their otherwise mediocre dishes.

Small and clean restaurant with friendly service. Food is pretty good here we tried the beef, egg, tomato soup vermicelli and fish with cream of corn on rice. The fish dish was especially delicious. Excellent value for what you pay here; our meals came with a drink as well Hong Kong style coffee and soy drink. Need to Pay cash though.

Food price is good, portion decent. But service is no good at all. Ordered an noodle and it seems to have problem, complain to the servers there, both ladies try to ignore it. In the end, the Chef probably the owner gave me a new one. the chef is a good man but the 2 servers weren't. The 2 servers then ignore us all along. Would I repeat? NO.

The one dish I had was average. Quanitity of food for the price is very good. Soup is okay. Hong Kong style tea was good and reminded me of my recent Asia trip haha. I will come back and try other dishes. Also the service was good and the restaurant wasn't crowded. Food came reasonably quick.

Decent portion sizes and inexpensive. Quality of the any sliced beef is poor, but the rest is pretty good. Afternoon tea from 2-5 remains the best value.
