It’s was my first time to have lunch here. The restaurant was clean and spacious. It wasn’t busy at all during the peak lunch hour. The food was ok but nothing special. You can pay an extra $3 to include a bubble tea or tapioca drink with your lunch order. The drink was not bad. The service was good and the server was friendly. They are now having a promotion of 13% discount for all dine in or take out if you pay by cash.
Came to ZenQ numerous times for many years before a new makeover took place. Despite the new changes, the old menu is still kept with minor updates....pricesFood is definitely tastier, more like a restaurant instead of a bubble tea or dessert place. Affordable prices with combos selections. Parking is conveniently located just steps from the entrance.
Quick meals, good value with bubble teas and desserts as well. As for quality, there are better options around. The Taiwanese minced pork rice was generous but disappointing. The teriyaki chicken baked pasta was ok, nothing amazing. Overall, good value but don't expect amazing tastes.
Service was okay and food was not bad. Restaurant was clean and neat. Portion sizes were pretty big and prices were fair. They have a discount promotion if you pay cash for dine in and takeout.
I ordered some of their Pearl Milk Tea and I have no idea how it was suppose to taste but it tasted pretty nice to me. I also ordered a few of there other dishes and they all tasted amazing and their presentation was remarkable.
This place is not to be slept on for hot food and meals. I would say for bubble tea and desserts there are plenty of options nearby, but the food here has been amazing. We came once for take out and back again for dine in. We decided to give this place a chance because they first opened selling their bbt, desserts, and snacks which was alright but not the best of the best. But couple years later I think they have their gig down. Their laksa noodles were bomb, minced pork eggplant was bomb, hainanese chicken rice was bomb.
Nice food and drink, great place to eat alone or meet friends, will definitely go again
ZenQ was not my first choice whenever I came to this plaza, mainly because I usually preferred other dishes such as noodles or korean. But after a few visits, I whole heartedly think the food and their drinks taste excellent. Price is also reasonable. Certainly will come more often.
The Hong Kong style baked casserole rice her is really good. LOVE the baked pork rice here with tomato sauce. The Taiwanese "3 cup chicken" is not bad neither. The lunch menu us reasonably priced and include a free beverage. I can see the mixed reviews and comments about the waiting staff. One of the staff is definitely on a learning curve, but the other staff are very efficient and courteous. Definitely we will repeat soon.
Service was good and their special combos/ afternoon tea specials are great deals. Plus, you can get these special combos to-go, so I find that to be an affordable dinner option if you didn’t want to cook. Got the minced pork rice combo - it was hot and fresh but maybe needed a little more seasonings as it was kind of bland.
