Victoria Speech & Language Centre- Westshore

We are very happy with the speech therapy our 11 year old grandson received through Victoria Speech and Language Centre. Yvette was excellent at connecting with him and motivating him to practice. We were very grateful to access speech therapy as quickly as we did. The on line platform worked very well for us. Contact we had with any staff has been professional and helpful.

Nicky is amazing. We have been working with her for over a year and she is so dedicated. She makes things fun for my little guy and he looks forward to seeing her.

Talk about comprehensive, informative and reassuring. Based on that I was able to make the decision that therapy was right for me.nnI really enjoyed our sessions. I’m not sure speech therapy is supposed to be fun but Nicky made it so. I am so pleased with my end state.

My dealings with Victoria Speech and Language Centre were always positive. Carla was able to schedule my daughter in for an assessment very soon after my first inquiry. Yvette the speech language pathologist that worked with us was very knowledgeable, professional, always prepared for our sessions and most importantly she was very engaging. Our visits felt much more like play than work and my daughter looked forward to seeing Yvette every week. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this centre to anyone.

VLSC's neurodiversity-affirming and child-led approach has helped our child to thrive, and equipped us to better understand who she is as a person, her personality, strengths, and her unique needs for support. Our daughter has a great bond with her therapists, who are very knowledgeable, and we especially appreciate the option to have in-home sessions. I love how they focus on her strengths and appreciate her for who she is. She's making amazing progress in this supportive environment.
