Excellent experience at Robin Hood Inn. The beds are very comfortable and the location is quiet and safe. It's less than 10 minutes drive to downtown. There is ample parking at the inn. I greatly enjoyed using the complimentary e-bikes, especially since the Galloping Goose Trail is so close. The free breakfast from 6:30-10:30 am included oatmeal, yogurt, boiled eggs, croissants, and muffins. I would absolutely stay here again, especially since the e-bikes remove the need to drive in Victoria. Would be nice to have a shuttle to the ferries or airport.
for the same price, it's better to find a house a little closer to your date than THIS. We didn’t like Everything here . Breakfast- it's just coffee machine, milk, flakes, yogurt. when you look at pictures on booking or in lobby lol and see croissants and breakfast with egg, scramble, bacon there - it's a lie.nthe kitchen is in the room but the door is locked, you can get it if you pay $15 per day. if you don't wash your own dishes -$25/hour, funds will be withdrawn from your card later.nnThere are tables in the yard, but even with your own gas grill you can't barbecue. The tables are just for show.
We decided to extend our trip in Victoria and needed last-minute accommodation for an extra night. After researching several options, we chose the Robin Hood Inn. When we pulled into the parking lot, I had some doubts, as it’s been a while since we stayed at a motel. However, the room and service greatly exceeded my expectations.nnI appreciated the free parking and breakfast. While the breakfast was basic, the area was very clean, and there were plenty of drink options. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed: a mini fridge, Keurig, Chromecast, and a newly renovated bathroom. You can really sense the care and attention the owner puts into the place.nnWe were excited about the complimentary e-bike rentals, but unfortunately, our trip was too short to take advantage of them. Still, it was one of the reasons we picked this hotel.nnThat said, there’s room for improvement. The AC was quite loud, and every time it turned on, the power would briefly cut out for a second. It also didn’t cool the room very well, though since we visited in October, it wasn’t much of an issue. Overall, I’m happy with my stay—it was a budget-friendly option that exceeded my expectations.
Stayed here with my family. Very helpful and accommodating staff, and while it is in a fairly quiet location, the hotel definitely felt older though. Not being able to run AC and the coffee machine at the same time was odd, as well as the damp smell in the room which did go away after. The complimentary breakfast and coffee was fine. This hotel was definitely more like a motel, if anything. Don't think I'll stay here again. And before the hotel implies that I made a fake review like they are for others, it wasn't booked under my name, like many others.
This was our first stay in this area of Victoria, but we chose it to be close to a venue where a wedding was taking place. The Inn has been here for a few decades, but the rooms are clean and spacious. The decor and bathrooms have been updated, plenty of parking available, and it's situated in a quiet neighborhood. They do provide a continental breakfast from 6:30 am to 10:30 am, and free wifi.
