Value Inn

I was working in the area and needed something local. The staff were very accomplished at getting me to pay up front for 3 nights in exchange for a small discount, but ended up paying about $97 per night. It's like they had a team working on how to extract value to reduce costs - dirty walls, threadbare sheets, industrial paper, cobwebs, sagging mattress, beaten furniture. The worst was the ice sheet of a parking lot that remained unsalted for the duration. An example of the service was that they forgot to give me towels, which I called and asked for, they initially refused to bring them to my room, meaning I'd have to brave the skating rink to go get them. Worst hotel experience I've had in North America.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you love yourself. It’s 3:23am, -17 degrees celsius and we’re currently sitting in our car trying to warm up because there is no heat in our room. 🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾 I hate this place.

A better accommodation would be to sleep on snow outside because at least you wouldn’t have to throw away $100+tax that way. Super cold when you come in. Super cold in the washroom. No internet for 98% of the time (waited to get internet to post this review).

Very good location. No microwave or free breakfast, but free parking. Very outdated and worn. I am confirmed with other reviewers to says it definitely needed plenty of TLC to put it back to its original glory. Hoped the managements reacts to their true paid customers' reviews.

Staying here for the night, the place seemed okay at first. The service was annoying as we thought the payment had already gone through online but instead we had to pay up front when we arrived. The room had an odd smell so we freshened the place with febreeze so it was at least breathable. The washroom is okay but beware of bugs. The beds and couches have bed bugs so watch out cuz your going to leave this joint itchy. If your looking for something cheap, look towards a place on Airbnb. This place is not worth the money!!
