U & Me Restaurant

One of my go-to places to eat in China town, especially late at night on the weekends! If you're with a group, order a variety of items and share them family style. Take out is also available if you'd prefer to eat elsewhere. The restaurant has always been clean whenever I've been in. I'd say food is very slightly over-priced, but it is worth it and it always hits the spot for me.

My family and I go to this restaurant for good value and tasty food. We love having dim sum (small portion plate) as well as evening meal here as they have a good variety of menu item. They serve Cantonese (Hong Kong) Chinese food, typically not spicy as Northern Chinese food. Both entrances require walking upstairs, no elevator. Inside the place is a family restaurant setting, not fancy. Great for family or with friends chatting away. We have been there for years and to us it has been consistently good in food quality. Try their chicken feet, I order every time.

Needs better customer service. Also do not come here before 11am. They don't serve their entire menu until after 11am. Also avoid this place if you have vegetarian friends or family. Nothing much on the menu for them to enjoy. Go to any other dim sum in the city for better food and service.

One of the best Chinese restaurant in Calgary. Come on the name alone is Very catchy. I went to U and me last night for late midnight dinner & really enjoyed myself.The server asked me if I wanted to set three different tables,I was like okay.I was ordering the food.I called a server every 3 minutes for questions about the menu. One of my rules when I’m in a restaurant, don’t be shy & get your food the way you want.Google search U and me,from the menu the name of the food and the picture will show up,you’ll have a good understanding what it looks like.dont just order some random food, truly understand the menu.I ordered 3 items Cantonese fried noodles chicken of course I don’t eat pork price $13.95 dollar.I really enjoyed that one Dash it was so delicious I can’t describe it.The second item I ordered was stir Fried beef with Black bean sauce price $14.95 Dollar.The third item I got was Fried shrimp spring price $6.55 Dollar. I also got ginger pop $2.95. It’s courtesy you you give a tip,I just did 15% came to $6.05 Dollar. I paid a total for GST $1.92 Dollar. My grand total for my dinner was $46.37 Dollar.I was by myself,my meal is good for at least 2 1/2 people.It was so much food for that price I was so impressed and happy at the same time. When ordering ask them how much quantity each item because mine was a lot for that affordable price.The tables are set for the customers.The atmosphere was very warm and peaceful. Decoration of the restaurant is really beautiful,if you have love for Chinese culture you will be pleased.Just please ask questions when you’re ordering don’t be shy and leave with angry.No one can read our mind. The more questions you ask about the menu and how something taste like and quantity.The better the experience will be.I start going there when I was 16 with my old friends.They used to do all the ordering all the times. I was very clueless about Chinese food a decade ago. Now I’m like a pro it’s awesome.I truly recommend this restaurant. They’re open daily 8:00am to 4:00am come on that’s incredible. Sorry you don’t get a lollypop when you pay.I was sad about it.

One of the more consistent Chinese restaurants in the core. Always busy but friendly staff and normally quick. Good for take out as well.
