Very eclectic, something for everyone, I am sure. Such variety and the prices are amazing and definitely worth checking out. Not just a woman's store....plenty of items for men too. I found and purchased items I never thought I would find there. Photos attached:
My first experience at the store went great cause their prices are reasonable. I was encouraged to return and on my second experience things was going great. When I got to the store, I decided to checkout their boutique section since I didn't have the chance to visit that section on my first visit. At their boutique section, I found a beautiful gold shoes for $6.00, so I took it down stirs and showed it to the lady Cassie who worked there and Cassie confirmed the price of the shoes to be $6.00. I went about my business continuing shopping and for more than 30 minutes after my chat with Cassie, another lady who also worked at the store who's name I do not remember approached me in the clothing alley and said to me that the shoes I carried in my shopping basket was wrongly priced. I told the lady that I did confirmed the shoes to be $6.00 and she said then someone must have switched the price tag. Me being a lady of color, African to be precise took a serious offense to that, that she basically saying I switched the tag so I can buy the shoes for $6.00. Another lady who was also shopping in the alley found the way the lady who worked at the store spoke to me very wrong. The lady shopping in the clothing alley suggested I give the store a review for such bad customer service, even though it was my intent to give a review for bad customer service. I immediately changed my mind from buying from them and decided that I won't ever come to their store to purchase anything. I walked to the cashier and reported my experience and how that made me feel and told Cassie who was working cashier that I won't be buying from them again. While expressing my disappointment, the store manager Diane was there at the time and offered me a sincere apology and told me that there have been people who come in to cheat their store and I told Diane that I should not have a bad experience based on other people behaviors in their store, that if at all the lady was unsure of the price of the shoes, she should have waited for me to come to the cashier and let the cashier confirmed the price of the shoes instead of her digging the bottom of my shopping basket to get the shoes out to confirmed the price just to find out the price was actually $6.00.nDiane apologized once more and promised to have a talk with the lady and she asked if I will like the lady apologized to me as well but I told Diane that a return customer is a lifetime customer and no need for the lady to apologized me, that the only thing I need is for the lady to be given more customer service training for people of all skin colors and nationalities.nAt the end of it all, Diane and Cassie was able to change my mind from no longer buying from them ever again to now being their happy customer and their return customer because of how well they resolved the issue and how professional they both were.nAlso Diane did give me a 50% off as well on my entire purchases.
Had a night of Youth Group here to help the owners out of storage and putting stuff away and it was so much fun! Hopefully I’ll be back to thrift more! Thank You agin More Than A Fad!
Wow! I recently starting going here a few times a month when I drive a relative to an appointment nearish. I have had great luck on Wednesday’s with brand new stuff for great prices
Nicely organized, and tidy. Super friendly staff and an incredible cause. We loved the inviting book reading/record listening area and the cozy change room area. I only gave 4 stars because it's out of the way... I wish it was in my neighbourhood!
