Canadian Tire

Fully stocked store. Which is great but i only saw two people working here the entire 30 minutes. No point if you want any help of any kind. And dont even think of getting paint mixed.

WARNING! Horrible key cutting service. Don't get your transponder keys cut here. I lost $40 worth of transponder keys. I asked them to cut 4 keys and not one would open the door. One key managed to turn in the ignition but only when the key was put into the ignition in the one direction. They didn't have anyone of any authority working that could help me get this resolved once I tested the keys and found out they didn't work. If they weren't sure if they could cut them properly why isn't the associate trained to warn the customer that they are not responsible. Or maybe clue in that these keys are not cheap and warn me to maybe only cut one to see if it works. They only told me they are not responsible after I came back into the store. You can visibly see the keys were cut thinner. Are they not trained to look for these issues after cutting the first key. Not even a gift certificate for their mistake to replace the cost of my keys. I can prove the cost of my keys which is $40. I'm very disappointed.

Absolutely shameful customer service. Having to put 1 star is too generous. I was trying to return a battery that was deemed by Canadian tire staff to be defective. Based on assurances from Canadian tire staff I went and bought a different battery the next day from another store. When I get back to the store the next day I was informed that they will not give refunds on battery's and that I could exchange it. Having made my fifth and final trip to Canadian tire just now I was informed by the service manager, Jim or Jeff, that the battery is in perfect repair and that not only would I not be getting a refund (which I had been promised 2X now), I would not be getting in store credit, I would not be getting an exchange, but I was getting the same battery back. That sleaze ball could not grasp or probably just didn't care that: 1) He was not backing up what his employees are promising regardless of whether or not the employee was speaking in error or not. 2) I have made 5 trips to his store which has been an incredible waste of my time and very frustrating. 3) While he has successfully avoided a battery exchange and kept the $230 dollars in the till he has lost a customer for not only his but all Canadian time stores. Further more I will actively do everything in my power to dissuade my friends and family to not shop at Canadian tire now or ever. Summing up incredible hassle, disorganized "return procedures and communication, and no attempt to salvage a customer service disaster. What a disappointment in a Canadian company I had been willing and happy to support in the past.

auto center has been great with my auto repairs so far helped out on small things N bigger stuff as well as well since i needed a safe vehicle because i have a little one in the back seat

Went shopping for a couple of items at this store and after ringing the bell twice the automotive parts clerk finally showed up, but was unable to find the product in their database. Next item: got no help aside from being asked if I wanted to sign up for a credit card and after helping myself to information about the products by opening the box I was scolded by the most tyrannical manager I've ever seen in a retail environment. There was no sales people on the floor so I helped myself to looking at the products. The next day I returned the item I purchased being unhappy about the cancer warning and was scolded and yelled at by the same tyrannical manager and she threaten to ban me from the store. The cashier who sold me the cancer causing kitchen appliance made sure her tyrannical manager came back to rip me a new one for the second time . She continued to mock me because I wanted to know what I was buying before paying for it and using it in my kitchen. I have worked in retail and saw customers do what I did, it came with the job especially if you don't pay attention to your customers. It wasn't too busy in the store and I'm wondering if it's because it's an absolute retail hell and a toxic work environment for their staff. You will NEVER see me in a Canadian Tire store again. I'll gladly spend extra money at a store elsewhere where I know I won't get threatened and yelled at.
