Story

Timber Ridge Resort, located in Traverse City, Michigan is an all-season, family and pet friendly resort featuring an RV park and cabins, banquet facility, lodge and miles of gorgeously wooded trails.

Guests can enjoy camping in one of our four season cabins or in their own tent or RV. We offer full hook-ups at over half our sites and water and electric in the rest.

Our recently remodeled banquet facility or one of our party tents are a great location to host your event.

With over 60 kilometers of Timber Ridge-groomed trails and the connecting Vasa trail system there is plenty available to the outdoor enthusiast. Those who want to stay in the park can take advantage of our pool, playground, dodge-ball or volleyball court, or one of the other amenities we offer.

Whenever we have gone to timber ridge it has been for the suds and snow event. This is a beer festival h ld the first weekend in March. We have gone almost every year fo the past decade. It is always a great time. The facility seems very nice and well equipped for the family fun atmosphere.

Called to reserve a cabin for a friends wedding scheduled later in the year and instantly got the feeling I was inconveniencing the lady that answered. She became more agitated with each question I had and acted as tho I should already know these things. I became quite frustrated and cancelled my reservation and oddly enough she then acquired a friendly tone like she had achieved her goal.

I attended my first 5k snowshoe race here and it was awesome! The park was well maintained and the staff was really friendly. Definitely recommend this to people coming to stay in traverse City for a couple nights.

Location was a short drive to downtown Travis City. The campground was nicely filled with lots of trees and the streets were paved. The rental house was very nice. The exterior was updated and the interior was very nice as well. Great place to stay!
