We went for a tubing trip and it was very nice. We paid 12 each, with an additional 10 deposit per tube. We were dropped off in an easily accessible location. The river had it's share of obstacles, but was very fun. We finished our trip at a dock with stairs, returned our tubes, and received our deposits with no issue. Over all, a great experience. I will be returning, hopefully to partake in the horseback riding they offer

My husband and our families decided to have our wedding here this June. The venue is absolutely stunning! The beautiful Boardman River was our backdrop for pictures. We were able to kayak down the river the day before. They also offer horseback riding! The staff was very helpful and attentive with whatever we needed. The catering for the wedding was delicious! My only concern was the charge for drinks at the bar and the 3% charge for using a credit card. Seems a little weird when you have a nearly $6,000 bill and you have to pay an extra 3% because you're using a card. Not many people carry $6,000 in cash. All in all it was a great experience! And affordable considering our wedding was a destination wedding and we kept our budget under $10,000.

Expensive as heck, but the cheapest in the Traverse area as far as my research could tell. It's $36 per kayak or canoe plus a $20 deposit per rental that is returned to you if you bring back all the equipment and none of it's broken. The scenery, however, is gorgeous! We went on a cloudy day and still it was a breathtaking trip. I only wish it could've been longer. But I must mention that the river is narrow and there are quite a few overhanging tree and submerged branches. The result is phenomenal scenery accompanied with quite a few obstacles that are very easy to run into if you're not careful, I almost fell in twice because I was distracted and unaware of oncoming branches. That doesn't mean it'll be like that for everyone, but just be aware that the risk is there, as it always is when you're on the water.

Great family fun. Quiet. Will definitely stay here again.
