Story

Traverse City KOA is located in a heartwarming country setting only 15 miles from Traverse City, known as the Cherry Capital of the World. Visit some of the local attractions such as Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and local orchards, wineries and vineyards. Also go shopping, see a show at an old-fashioned drive-in, hit the links and play at one of the 40 local golf courses. Come and ride this KOA's Fun Train or cool off on those warm summer days in the campground's sparkling heated outdoor pool. Check out the new Jumping Pillow and paved main roads. You can challenge the family to a game of giant chess, mini golf, basketball, volleyball or horseshoes. This KOA also has a Kamp K9. Stay connected to family, friends and business at your site with free Wi-Fi Internet service. Cable TV is available at most sites.

This is our favorite campground when visiting the Traverse City area. The campground is beautiful and spotless. The sites are spacious and easy to access and can accommodate all size of rigs. There is a lot that is offered here...a nice pool, well-stocked camp store for all your camping needs, propane, firewood, two jumping pillows, play area for children, RC track and fenced-in area for your dog. Clean showers and restroom that are well-kept. The cabins are beautiful and clean. The campground is conveniently located about 15 miles south of Traverse City, Michigan and away from all the city traffic, but close enough if you want to visit Traverse City. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. They do their best to make your visit a great camping experience. Our plans are to come to Traverse City KOA Holiday frequently during this camping season.

Great facility and good general store. Lots if fun for young children. Not much privacy between camping spots though. Great staff and clean bathrooms. Hubby says he wishes there were more showers in the men's room only 3. Ladies has 4

We were here a couple of days and our stay was wonderful! We had a full hookup back in site that was easy access. Clean restrooms and showers! The laundry was clean as well. Staff was very friendly. Even left a thank you note taped to the door of our trailer, nice touch!

The park is beautifully maintained, the owners are super friendly. Activities for toddlers through teenagers. Super close to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes and many more northern Michigan tourist spots. We are loving our stay.
