Lakefront site is more like lake access and/or view. The campground is clean and staff are very friendly. The campsites are nice, but are made up of little stones so they may not be the best for little kids. The lakefront areas have many sites that are privately owned. The atmosphere is quiet. Not even a radio was heard. Restrooms were clean and convenient. Overall great time and convenient location to get to downtown TC. 4 stars because of the rocky sites.

We went to timber ridge first, and then left and came here. Much better service and better spots. I can't stand parking on dirt and mud with dogs and kids, (at timber ridge- that was the case, and the front desk person wasn't kind) but at Holiday , the person was kind, our spot had crushed stone/rock and some grass. Other spots had tons of grass which looked nice. It's kinda far from traverse city, but it is the best bet around here it seems !

Holiday Park Campground outside of Traverse City is a beautiful campground, clean, well-planned and full of possible fishing spots around its lake.  Lots of playground areas, lots of shower houses.  The island makes a lovely biking excursion.  The laundry facility is also clean and everything was in good working order.  The campground was outstanding in its service and aesthetics.  Would highly recommend.

 GREAT place for the whole family....found it three years ago and love spending the summer here from Florida. It may seem like it's prices too high but once you see how well kept the park is and accomadating the staff can be...it's All worth it. Check out the long term rates...God Bless this beautiful place.

Excellent campground, have stayed there several times over the last few years. Everything is well maintained with nice landscaping. Lots of small playgrounds for big and little kids. Wifi is nice, but could be a little stronger/faster.
