I liked this place but I can't say I loved it. The food portions are good but I feel like there is a little too much going on in each dish and in a way that, to me, felt like the taste of the main ingredient of the dish was being masked a bit. Again it was still good but I can't say it wowed me. The service was great. The portions were good. The place was dark though. One of those places that make aging eyes bust out the cell to light up the menu.

My husband and I are regulars and we love it. The staff is always attentive, the food is always fabulous and there is always something delicious on tap. They go out of their way to try and explore new drinks - definitely worth chatting with the bartender for a bottle recommendation on those fancy nights:) We get their cocktails also and are never disappointed. We can honestly say we have never had a dish there we didn't like. They also accommodate tons of diet restrictions making it easy to go there with a group of people - if it's complicated we let them know ahead of time just as a courtesy. Wonderful wonderful place. :)

One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. Food is absolutely impeccable -- always perfectly cooked, creatively presented, and of course, delicious. Service has always been great too. Highly recommend getting the tasting menu, which is amazing value for money. Atmosphere is cozy and romantic, but my only small complaint would be that its a little cold inside in the winter and they could turn the heat up higher. I did bring it up on my last visit and it got warmer but not as warm as I'd like. Will definitely come back here again!!

We were there on Valentine's day, and were surprised that you couldn't order of the regular menu. Would have loved a warning when we reserved a table a couple days before. The chef had some creative dishes and flavors, but the over-done BBQ roasted beef ribs in the entree, mediocre ginger bread with green apple sorbet and an odd, gelatinous cream on top of an okay white blondie didn't meet the expectations I had for the night. Not sure if I'd go back, likely not given the number of options to choose from in Toronto.

Great spot, cool atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Cocktails were great and a good selection. I ate here last year and still remember the good being quite good. This place should be busier!!!
