Little Sister Indonesian Food Bar

Stylish, busy Indonesian spot south in Midtown. Portions are small but the food is very tasty. Select menu of Balinese tacos and Satay among others. Prices are fair. Ideal for a stylish but laid back night out with the misses. Music can get pretty loud, but did not bother us.

Small very cool place. Tiny delicious eats, and some impressive drinks. Seat by the bar to see how they make them! They also have a hidden bar upstairs: Bar Batavia. The decor is really cool, and it is a great place to have a couple of cocktails

I am Dutch. So the fare here reminds me of home. I have now tried everything on this menu and there is nothing bad I can say about any of it. The servers are great and will chat with you about the food, the history and recommend things to you. The bartender is also very skilled and makes a mean cocktail.

Nicely decorated place with food food I rate 3 stars. As a frequent traveller in south East Asian countries I find the food taste flatter than it should be (maybe because it is fusion by a Dutch chef?) Mocktail I ordered was refreshing and delicately made. Friendly staff and i loved the bar seating and music selection. CAD 48 for 3 dishes, a dessert and a drink.

I made reservations for Nov 13th three weeks in advance and asked for best available seating. When we showed up they squeezed us on a 4 seater table and weren't even apologetic about it. In addition the chairs didn't have any back support and we had a senior with us. When I asked for better seating explaining this they refused to give us better seats despite them being available. Very disappointed.
