Absolute BEST surf and turf we've ever had! My husband had the Grand Admiral steak and I had the seafood boil, and we shared the bruschetta and peanut butter pie. Absolutely amazing on all fronts, steak could be cut with a butter knife.nOur server was Summer and she was attentive but not overbearing, 11/10 service. Drinks were delicious, and overall this is a MUST visit! Worth every single penny spent!
I barely give 5 stars those days, but this restaurant deserve it!nWe got there around 5, two tables around and they got quite a few ppl waiting when we left.nFood wise, easily the best surf and Turf dish, prawns and scallop were right on point, tender and juicy, play the ocean in your tongue. And potato was chef’s kiss! And gravy is more of Thai curry taste. We end up order too much food, the pasta is really good toonThe dessert! Oh the summer crumble! The combination of sweet and sour, warm and cold, crumbled oatmeal topped with vanilla ice cream, it’s a must! Yeah I would back to Tofino for this dessert no joke
Tried the blackened oysters, stuffed halibut and lemon pavlova . Oysters were very flavourful and tasted really fresh! Lemon pavlova had a great tart flavour to pair with the sweetness of the raspberry sauce and fresh strawberries. The stuffed halibut was a bit of a let down as the fish was over cooked and wasn’t seasoned as well as the oysters . Also had a fresh herb infused lemonade that was not too sweet.nnOverall, enjoyed the experience and food and would love to come back one day to try other dishes on the menu
We visited the schooner at our stay in Tofino, the service was really nice and helpful. We were looking for a restaurant with good sea food and we definitely found it, we visited the schooner twice for late lunch and dinner. We can absolutely recommend the restaurant, the prawns on the lunch menu are amazing, the best I've ever had. To order extra crabs was worth it! Seafood pasta and Seafood chowder soup were delicious. We are coming back!
Really cool place in Tofino. A staple for many years, they manage to deliver excellence again and again. Highly recommend the seafood chowder and really any and all seafood dishes.
