Ice House Oyster Bar

We went there on a dreary rainy day, but it was a fabulous experience. I had made reservations and requested a good view as it was our anniversary. We arrived and were given a great spot with a view and a glass of champagne as well! The staff were all great as was the food. We had calamari for an appetizer and I have never had it taste that good and be that tender. Amazing job. I will definitely recommend going here even if they couldn't give us a sunny day. ;)

What an amazing and delicious meal. This restaurant really did a great job in making the crab taste savoury and full of wild favours. Would highly recommend getting an Unami Tsunami Oyster. The intricate and complex flavours will blow your mind. It's a good idea to make a reservation in advance so you can get a seat inside. We didn't and it was really windy and chilly outside, but they were good enough to offer a stack of blankets in the front.

Loved the atmosphere here. Visited twice & sat outside both times. Food was superb & fresh. Service was a little slow but that's not a complaint as it was great just to relax & eat/drink at our own pace without feeling rushed. Would definitely visit again if ever back in Tofino.

Great experience for a seafood lover! Finally I get a meal that is prepared beautiful and fills me up. Thanks to the weather our outdoor experience could not be beat. Great views from inside too. 30 years ago I would have never guessed I would have this experience at the old ice house. How things change!!

Amazing views, super romantic and has great atmosphere and service. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the food .. I ordered fish and chips and my husband ordered the calamari, and had high expectations as everything else on this island had amazing foods.. I was disappointed as I had better food anywhere else. The oysters were very good too.
